Many are in .HMTL format so will need to be downloaded and opened in a browser to view.
Every FS mission will be uploaded to this database, and I'm looking out for anyone who has access to archives from way back when so we can fill in the gaps!

Sometimes, when creativity strikes, writers on this forum have come to the Administration with an idea for a new species or a new class, or request that something is integrated from Beta canon. Some of them have been accepted, some of them have not, and unfortunately historically very little feedback has been given, nor clear instructions on how such proposals should be handled.

So for clarification purposes, here are the rules/procedures for how this will go down in future:

Member(s) develop idea into a proposal. The proposal should state what the idea would bring to FS, and how it will improve the site as a whole*.

Member sends proposal to all three members of the Administration (CinC, CD, Academy Superintendent).

Administration decides whether proposal requires reworking or can move forward. Feedback provided if required.

Proposal is submitted to the Commanding Officers for discussion (the player's own CO will be asked to recuse themselves out of fairness).

The Commanding Officers will provide feedback to the Administration, who will either approve or reject the idea.

The final decision will be rendered to the member(s). The Admin decision is final.

I believe this is clearly laid out, if there are any questions or you feel something needs clarifying, please let me know!

*Note that this does not include simply wanting to be different. We're not bringing an entire species into FS canon for one player.

Good evening everyone!

Inspiration strikes at the oddest times, and sometimes that inspiration grows into mission concepts or mission ideas. Obviously on Federation Space we use up a LOT of missions: generally between 5 and 10 per year (5 ships averaging six months per mission), so my folder of missions read-to-go is often a lot emptier than I would like.

If people have a concept that they would like to put forward for review, this form will allow me to look at what we have "in the bank" and contact staff writers to develop your ideas into full on missions. Under normal circumstances I do not accept unsolicited mission outlines, but if you have something that you think will be really cool and you've already got it written down, get in touch with me and we will discuss!

Reminder that as a rule, I require that members refrain from writing missions for their own ships. There are multiple reasons for this, all of which I will be more than happy to discuss in private, but realistically it boils down to preventing people getting upset if the actions of the crew or GM mean the mission doesn't play out perfectly.

If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to e-mail me at this address or DM me on Discord, and watch this space for further announcements!
