Wondering who's played it and if they still are. I was thinking about getting into it and if anyone has some noob tips that'd be good too. :)

Not heard of that one, where do you play it?

I got it from Google Play. Gameplay is pretty basic, though.

Honestly, I probably wouldn’t give it a try. Sure, the advertisement for it looks good but in my experience that never matches up. Plus, games on the App Store usually end up being P2W.

Then again, that sounds no different from STO. However, if you do play it and enjoy it I’ll be happy for you.

I really don't get into the PvP much, and I almost never pay for games unless it's one I truly enjoy like Art of Conquest. At least Fleet Command has a lot less information thrown at you then STO.

I had Fleet Command for a while but got bored of it. There is obvious P2W happenings and it just got monotonous quick. Conversations were funny at times but just blah so I deleted about a couple months back.

I'm noticing that, too. It's the same with most games like this. Well, online games in general. I don't play online much. Eve Online has some of the greatest stories though.

I played during the beta but it got very grindy. When they went full release they reset my progress back to the start so I deleted the app.

Ugh that would suck.  Ya it became just mining and building and overall very boring. Especially if you weren't paying.

Whats "Eve Online"?

Whats "Eve Online"?

*blinks*

Only the best online space sim ever. Also the most beautiful in my opinion.

But really it's a space MMORPG in a "persistent world" where you can do just about anything. You can have massive battles, and when I say massive, I mean thousands of ships at a time. You can play solo or join a corporation. You can play their version of the stock market, and there is a way to earn real money.

One of my favorite stories is about a player who spent 10 YEARS exploring the game end to end, 8000 star systems by the way.

If ya want to read the full story, here ya go. https://www.polygon....urney-katia-sae
