Even with her telepathy, Nira never saw it coming. A group of Nausicaans jumped her, and she fought desperately. All her skill didn't keep them off her, and she was stabbed in multiple places. Security Officer V'Larinn arrived in time to see the deputy being wounded from the remaining Nausicaans. He pinched one and punched another, and saw Nira breathing heavily, struggling for consciousness.

[Ensign V'Larinn to Sickbay, medical emergency, Commander Said is wounded].

Nira leaned back and sighed. "Even if I do die, at least I could go knowing I died well...and I probably deserve to die."

"You're not going to die, Commander, I can promise you," V'Larinn said. Although the wounds look bad enough that Nira needs Starfleet Medical, but hopefully Doctor Jolly can patch her up and keep her alive until then.

[GM-Fields]

Security forces arrived on the deck and subdued the Nausicaans who were most violent. The others who were unarmed surrendered and they were all beamed to the brig.

Said was also beamed to sickbay.
