==Located a little below Vanguard Station's mid-point, the docking ring is the primary loading and unloading area for passengers and cargo. Depending on the size of docked vessels, the Docking Ring can dock up to twelve vessels; one on each of the six spokes, and one at each docking port between the spokes.

The Docking Ring also contains Starfleet Customs checkpoints at every docking port to prevent the import or export of controlled substances or goods.==
