It was more than a little surprise that the person on the shuttle matched the person they were looking for, there was a good chance he was being framed for all of this giving them more reason to talk. "Captain I have confirmed that the person we are looking for is on that shuttle." There was a part of him that wanted to beam the man directly to the Brig, however this would be illegal.
"I am awaiting orders about what to do next Captain." The safe way to do things would be in the hands of him, it would also be a learning point for him.

"Captain I have started a health and safety check on the Orion shuttle, we picked up a transporter signal to the shuttle. We are not sure if it is our P.I. or if its a P.O.N.I." Sometimes he forgot that not everyone would understand. "The difference is Person of interest and none." He was pretty sure that the Captain could figure out what he said with that. "If he was smart this trail would be a false trail for us to follow, chances are equally high that he didn't do it set up to take the fall by someone." reported in Coppola.
Daniel nodded and looked at the view screen, "Let's monitor them while we await for the scans, it wasn't long before Coppola came back with,
"Captain I have confirmed that the person we are looking for is on that shuttle."
Daniel nodded and took a seat in the command chair thinking for a moment,
"Get a tractor beam ready and on standby to hold onto that shuttle." he ordered,
Brooks then said, "Open a frequency to the shuttle."
Once the communications was open he said, "This is Captain Daniel Brooks of the USS Aquila, I believe there is a person aboard your shuttle we are very interested in, please hand them over without causing us any trouble, your ship will not out run us and believe me when I say my crew are very highly skilled in disabling you. So in the interest of safety of yourselves, hand over the person we believe is on your vessel. Description is being sent over to you now."
He watched intently the shuttle on the view screen.

Opening a channel like Captain Brooks had ordered, he was still keeping an eye on the shuttle. He wanted to make sure they weren't going to run, if they did they had a few surprises all of them not lethal. "Channel open." He said while making sure they not only had the ability to receive, but to answer if they didn't ignore the hail.
