Remember during your time at Academy people have responsibilities such as school, jobs, and family, as well as maintaining our site. There are times when we may have to wait longer than we’d like for a reply to a post or a question. Patience and treating each other with respect and dignity are two things that are absolutely required of all members.
On the flip side, the Constitution states that players need to post at least twice a week. If you find you are unable to keep up due to something coming up in real life responsibilities or you’re just going to be on holiday, please let one of the Admins know. You can be granted a leave of absence for the length of time you think you’ll be away. If you don’t let us know and you suddenly disappear, this could end up with you being considered AWOL and eventually removed from the active cadet roster.

Please begin by posting your bio using the template below. Once posted, your bio will be reviewed by an Evaluations representative. They will post comments for you and suggest any adjustments your bio might require. Once they approve your bio, you will be assigned an instructor and your adventure will begin!

Posts properly formatted are easier and more enjoyable for everyone to read. I strongly recommend you run your bio and any posts you make through a spell check before posting them.

Personal History: After being born on Betazed, Amethyst lived there for 8 years for primary school with an emphasis on health and then helped her mom in clinics while dad was still on a Starfleet ship as Cheif Medical Officer. At 8 years old, Ian and she went to live with their country doctor grand parents (Dr. Owen Wick Bremner and Dr. Maggie Eloise Bremner) on Earth (Wick, Scotland). There she did secondary education and helped her grandparents at night doing house calls. At 17, she was admitted to the Starfleet Medical Program, where she excelled.

Most Painful Experience: Amethyst's most painful experience is when her parents came to her and Ian at Starfleet Academy second year and told them that their grandfather passed from a heart attack in his sleep, and then six months later her grandmother passed in her sleep from natural causes. She thinks if she was there her grandmother wouldn't have passed from a broken heart.
Best Time: Her best memories are gardening with her Earth Grandmother.
Most Crucial Experience: A crucial point for her was when Jack Wallace asked her to their final winter formal, and stood her up, as she asked as a joke. That night her brother, his date (a human girl), and her grandparents stayed home and played board games with her. The next Monday at school, Ian sabotaged Jack's warp engine experiment so it would cause a minor explosion. She knew then what a true family and friendship was.

As we want to get a rich idea of who your character is, we generally look for 3 to 4 good-length paragraphs in this part of the bio. A good rule of thumb in your case would be a paragraph each dedicated to early life, adolescence, and Academy experience.

They noticed that their telepathic powers were limited to family only, helping further their being different with Betazoid children. They begged their parents to let them move to Earth, thinking things would be easier.

So, she decided to start gardening with her grandmother. She loved that plants didn't have prejudices.
Then at 17, she was admitted to the Starfleet Medical Program, where she excelled. She spent most time studying and her bunk mate was her twin. Most people who would visit their quarters would comment on how quiet their room was, yet she thought of it as noisy. Living with her twin, and being socially awkward, she forgot often that people didn't communicate they way Ian and she did. Amethyst was always found in the holodecks in the Medical Campus or in the library studying. This grew even more dominate when she found out about the passing of her Earth grandparents. She was glad that Ian was there with her as she never felt alone when he was around. In fact, when he spoke to her out loud, it still startles her as it is like a constant echo.
