==Holodeck==

Seeing it was some time before getting to know the ship, Nira made for the holodeck. She wanted to get to training, to practice, and she was rested after her journey to Titania. She was anxious to hit the holodeck.

As it so happened, there was a unique training scenario she found on the starbase, and so she brought a copy with her: Circus Exercitium; the former word referring to arenas for entertainment, not just the typical circus; the latter word referred to the word "exercise," so it fitted the training aspect. It was essentially a training arena where people are free to spar or wait as they watch the practicing face holographic waves. It even came with a ranged practice mode so Nira could practice her shooting.

The arena range can wait momentarily, and Nira was anxious to practice her melee skills. Once the program was active, she stepped in and there was a circular arena with seats. Anybody available could come and watch, but Nira didn't care.

"Computer, level one training level, starting mode," Nira ordered. "Begin."

An opponent appeared, and Nira did her tumble for drawing her blades from her boots, a way to practice unsheathing her daggers for close combat.

Okay, it seemed too easy...ah, the sparring can wait. Time for target practice.

She breathed in calm; she needed this, especially given whenever she thought of Sothrick. She needed to focus.

"Computer, phaser and display targets. Circus Shooting Range, Level Three training level. Begin."

The targets appeared. Keeping her focus, Nira shot as many targets as she could.

Amila had just finished watching a message from her parents and needed to get some air. Her relationship with them was complicated at best. Communication felt forced and when Amila did respond she never felt like she could really say what she wanted to. She changed into lightweight joggers, running shoes, and a white tank top and planned for a run on a holographic beach. Something long and hot, with crashing waves, she thought. Nothing like a little physical torture and the illusion of nature to get your mind off of things.

She was busy trying to not think about the message and didn't notice the occupied light on the control panel outside of the holodeck and found herself walking right into a running program and one of the new transfers shooting at targets.

"I am so sorry!" Amila exclaimed. "It wasn't locked, and I wasn't paying attention. I should have looked. Sorry again. I can just go run at the gym," Amila offered somewhat embarrassed about barging in.

As Nira was taking in her shots, she whirled to try to hit another target and ended up having a sight path right into a walking officer. She broke off and gasped.

"Computer, freeze program," she ordered, and she breathed in relief. She recognized the officer who walked in: Amila Ra'an, from the party.

"Ah. Apologies, Amila," Nira said, and then she smiled. "I didn't mind it wasn't locked; the program is open for anybody. It's basically a training program, and can cover exercise, so it can function as a gym in the holodeck. Circus Exercitum, that's what I call the program," she added with a smile.

"Given "circus" more refers to circle," she explained, "it's a perfect arena for any kinds of training. With spars, with exercise, hence the second name, and with other talents. Like to join me?" Nira offered. "We can do some exercise - obstacle course running, for instance. Or do a training range, like I was earlier."

"Nira right? I hope the safety was on," Amila said good naturedly when she realized she had stepped in front of a target.

"Um," Amila looked around as she considered the Security Officer's offer. She turned around to look at the target behind her. "You know, I can't remember the last time I fired a phaser. We qualify every year, but that's about it. A few years ago there was an incident on an away mission, but security and command pretty much threw us science officers behind them while they secured the situation. I practiced for a couple of months after that, but I didn't stick with it."

Amila turned back to Nira with a somewhat sheepish look. "Do you mind?" She asked.

"That's right, and the safety is on," Nira said with assurance. And at the offer to practice her shooting - seeing that she couldn't remember it (which meant it was far too long) - Nira nodded.

"Of course. I'd be glad to help you refresh your memory for phaser firing," she said. "Computer, Level One targeting."

And targets emerged on one side of the circle, in typical shooting gallery fashion. "Okay, let's start basic and we can go from there," she said, her eye being assessing.

"Alright... Computer, Phaser Type 2," Amila called out causing a phaser to appear in front of her. She took a hold of it and tested its weight in her hand before squaring up to the target. "I think I can still handle this part. Stationary target. no pressure other than a senior security officer looking over your shoulder."

Amila checked the settings then held out her arm and took aim at the first target. Not a bullseye, but she hit the inner circle. She aimed again and hit near her first shot. On her third try she almost grazed the bullseye line, but on her fourth, she was on the outskirts of the inner circle, almost in the red. She stopped briefly after that and dropped her arm and let out a sigh and scrutinized the target again. Five and six were much like the fourth, still hitting the yellow, but just barely. Her first three shots being much better than the last three.

She looked over at Nira. "Well that went the wrong direction."

Nira smiled. "It's okay, it's probably a show of rustiness. I was the same way when I started out on the range. The trick is to keep focus as best as possible. Basic aims can be okay, and, if you're in a real fight, at least you'll be able to get other nonvital body parts. Depending on the setting of the phaser, it'll be easy to down a targeted person through stun or kill. If on the highest setting, well, it probably won't matter where you hit," she finished with a shrug.

"It's a good call, focusing on the bullseye. I won't be asking for demonstrations of marksmanship, but try not to drift your aim away," she finished.

"I'll keep that in mind," Amilla responded with a nod. "So what level were you just practicing at?" Amila asked as she stepped over to the next target.

"Level Three," Nira said. "Advanced difficulty level, with targets being mobile. Computer activate."

The targets appeared around and they moved. "Watch, please," Nira said to Amila, and then she proceeded to shoot. Her eye coordination enabled her to get as many targets as possible in a time limit.

Once the time limit was up, Nira had her score. "Twenty targets in thirty seconds," she said. "I only got this good from constant practice. And even then, never necessary to get a bullseye."

Amila watched carefully, dividing her attention between the targets and how they moved around, and Said's focus and movements as she aimed and fired. Peripheral awareness was key, though Amila, something her brothers taught her well when they were teaching her to fight as a child.

"Nice work," Amila commented with a sincere nodded, impressed at the the security officer's speed and accuracy with the weapon. "I think I can try this one. No need to worry about the bullseye right? This isn't darts," Amila winked at who she hoped was becoming a new friend.

"Ready?" Amila did a small wiggle of sorts relaxing the muscles in her body before initiating the program. She readied her weapon. "Computer, activate Level Three."

As the targets appeared Amila imagined they were Breen soldiers and her weapon was set to kill. Without worrying about where on the target she hit, she moved a lot more quickly through the program, the moving targets and the pressure she had put on herself sending a course of adrenaline through her body. When the program ended it came as a surprise to Amila - she was on the balls of her feet ready to move either direction and flinched when the targets suddenly disappeared. She turned to look at Nira, slight breathless and feeling a little sweaty from the adrenaline, but smiling from the rush.

"Fifteen in thirty, is that terrible?" Amila asked. "I know I missed a few." She wiped her palms on her pants and shook them out.

"Actually, it wasn't bad," Nira said. "Plenty of schools would give it a B minus grade, but I'd count that as good. Those were good reflexes," Nira added.

===New Subplot, After the Broken Arrow, Amila Ra'an==

==Crew Mess Hall==

Isabel Molina walked into the Mess Hall first. She was meeting Charlotte here and a few others, but first she needed provisions. As she walked to the bar she noticed a few people, including the barkeep taking attention to her outfit. For their upcoming holodeck program she had on a form-fitting cropped long-sleeved shirt with a high neck, the plum-metallic color captured the light like a disco ball. Her sleeveless jacket that she wore over it was a solid silver, almost as shiney as the floors, and silver rings floated and spun over her shoulders. Her short skirt matched the jacket, and she had on tall boots with clunky heels in the same purple fabric as her shirt, but the belts were embellished with buckles and zippers that seemed to offer no particular purpose than decoration.

One of the younger men at the bar started to walk over to her, but the manager cut in with a bag and a grin. "I've got what you ordered. Who are you supposed to be again?" He asked.

"Riot Siren," She said calmly, trying to keep a straight face. She could see the shimmer in her mascara as she talked to him. Her makeup was way over done in shades of peach and something that almost looked like glitter. "There's still time for you to join. Just waiting on Charlie. I think the others are meeting us there, but I'm not sure, some might be coming here first. I like the crew to see the costumes. Generate more interest for next time," she laughed.

He shook his head, "Well, it's working, please keep me in mind for next time, but being in-between assignments it's been too busy for me to leave the staff hanging," he said with a grin. "I just love that hair though. You could rock that every day."

"Oh, my gosh, not on the Bridge, the Cap' would lose his mind, or laugh," she replied giggling as she spun around to show off a teased style that was something out of an Earth 1980's rock magazine. Her hair was half up, and she'd managed to make it look like she had bangs curled that stood out several centimeters from her head. "Back in the day, women almost killed our planet making their hair look like this."

Gath stepped into the Mess and after a tiny pause, walked over to Isabel. He was wearing what looked to be a very well tailored suit of silk and very fine cloth. He was all in black, with a white shirt, open at the collar. His shoes barely made a sound as he approached her, "Pardon me miss, can I help you with that. I think you're going my way."

As she took a second to realize he was going to be joining in on the fun, he tilted his head and added, "The name is Sunnan Black, at your service." He chuckled and then continued, "I actually met the man once and you wouldn't believe me if I told you the real story. I'm not even sure how classified it would be anymore, and I doubt I'll ever be that drunk, but he would certainly fit well in this situation, so I used him as my inspiration."

Isabel's face lit up when she saw that Gath was playing along.

"How kind of you to ask, I'll never turn down the help of such a strong looking gentleman," she teased, somewhat in character. "I don't want to mess up this look so early in the night, but you're looking quite fine yourself."

She broke character then, and let out a laugh. "So you're part of the heist then I take it? Char must have really wanted a challenge to put you on my team, she's running the house you know. Indie-rebel rock singer, Riot Siren, at your service," Izzy said taking a quick spin.

Neither noticed Charlotte slipping in at first, though she was also dressed to turn heads. Her emerald green gown was completely backless and hugged her waist perfectly, while the silk in her skirt spilled around her, flowing like ripples in the water. She wore matching gloves that stopped just above her wrists, and her exposed skin on her arms and back shimmered in the light. Her blonde hair was set into large curls that were coiffed perfectly along her neckline, and she wore a hat, perched on the crown of her head, the brim wide, but angled up, adding to her height, and not hiding her eyes, and bedazzled with jewels that accented her dress.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" Charlie asked casually as she approached the two, her folksy introdoction seeming somewhat out of place with how elegantly she was dressed for the program.

Gath had barely started to answer Isabel as Charlotte joined them, "Actually I've not been given a briefing on my role yet. I was only told that my services for security and knowing the weaknesses of such were being requested. Thus, I don't know if I'm using my skills to protect or to defeat protections."

He blushed a little and cleared his throat, "So, I guess I need you ladies to clarify for me, which side of this I'm standing on."

While he waited to find out for sure, he still helped to carry some of the snacks, especially anything heavy. He couldn't help but take a moment to appreciate how both ladies looked in their respective costumes. Either way, he was going to find it challenging to keep his mind on the task at hand.

"Oh, you are definitely a heister," Charlotte responded a bit of playful seduction in her voice. "Putting you on the side of the House would seem like too much work, wouldn't it?"

"We can go ahead and take these down to the Holodeck," Charlotte suggested. "Evie and A'kilees are meeting us there. I know they were hoping to round up a few others too," Charlotte suggested, taking one of the lighter bags. "Most of the program will be in My luxurious bar and lounge, Chez Consuela: The House of Singularities. Very exclusive. The Holodeck can replicate synthehol and other drinks, but I had Trulo hook us up with some of the real stuff just in case. I didn't know what people liked."

Izzy interjected, "This is our first time playing, my friend Felix hooks me up with these from time to time. But there are levels," she explained as they walked out of the mess. "Depending on what we do, the game changes. And some holocharacters may try to help or hurt us. We made it so that most of us are heisters, but Char - I mean, Madame Consuela Hyperion Cassiopeia, owns the lounge. Tonight they are hosting a a galactic competion of Quantum Hand, and the grand prize is some kind priceless Aurelian jewel that we need to steal to win the game."

"Simple right?" Izzy grinned as the turbolift doors seemed to open as soon they arrived.

"Holodecks," Charlotte chirped as soon as they were all in the elevator. "Anyway, I can't wait to see Evie's costume. I'm sure she has something fun planned."

We haven't started the program yet, so arrivals now, will be meeting us outside of the Holodeck, but arrivals can meet us inside the program as well.

ACT I: Entrance
Everyone arrives to Chez Consuela: The House of SIngularities separately under their ridiculous cover identities. Tonight there is a galactic competition of Quantum Hand. The grand prize being the Aurelian Orison.

Heisters’ Goal: They must establish their characters and find one another without making it obvious they're together. Their ultimate purpose is to steal the Aurelian Orison (Priceless Pearl-Like Jewel around the size of a softball).

Madame Consuela Hyperion Cassiopeia (Charlotte), the owner of the Lounge, greets them personally. She immediately notices something strange about each of them.

(This means if you join the holodeck after the game has started, you are still good to move and play.) All are welcome!!

__

Copied From Crew Discussion:

Charlotte is going to be arriving soon, and she is the Owner, proprietress, and her costume will be exquisitely devine.

If you'd like to play, we could use at least one or two on the Bar Owner side, and as many as we want on the heist side.

(On the side of the House possibly a right hand who helps manage and someone in charge of security there.)

(Izzy is on the side of Heist, still looking for the Mastermind, other potential ideas: Someone inside gambling at high stakes tables, Someone there to mingle, talk, flirt, get as much information as they can as they move around the room, An infiltrator who works at the bar: A tech specialist or TWO, whose job it will be to override security, get into the safe)

I can help you with a character / persona, or you can develop your own character persona, entirely. I will loosely GM this as needed when you want, but this also for fun, so it is not going to operate like a standard mission where you need a response for every result. There is definitely some free reign here - but might be some dice rolls over here.

Be as ridiculous as you want. Shenanigans await.

As they made their way to the Holodeck, Gath said to Izzy, "It will be a pleasure working with you. This should be quite interesting."

He then turned to Charlie and said, "That dress is quite amazing. I hope you won't take our opposition personally, but if it helps at all, I would like to apologize in advance."

Gath touched his watch on his wrist and his suit turned to a dark Blue with a slightly different cut to it that made him look a little thinner and cufflinks appeared on his sleeves. He pulled a pair of glasses out of his inside pocket and slid them on and they darkened just enough to make it hard to see what direction he was looking. His grin turned absolutely devilish, insinuating that not only had he done something like this before, but that he was enjoying it.

==NPC Ava O'Fee==

Walking in ahead of Evie, Ava had a mischievous smile. Between her and Evie the real question was, is there any other kind? They were identical twins in most ways, even their mother had a hard time telling them apart. She was dressed in a traditional Irish Barmaid outfit, for the occasion it seemed appropriate. In her outfit there were several small weapons that she could easily access, most were hidden in plain sight they were just cleverly hidden in the outfit. She had on a pair of thigh high boots that concealed two daggers, one in the back of each boot. On her face Ava was wearing a pair of green tint sunglasses, most people would dismiss them as regular glasses while others would see there was more to them. On her right hand was the promise ring, the heart was pointing outwards.

"Mr. Gath." The greeting and voice were both in a playful tone. "Good to see you again." Her tone turned so it had a little seriousness in it. "Ready to have some fun?" Ava was passing herself off as Evie just for some fun, everyone so far has believed that Ava was really her sister. "Mr. Gath there is at least one thing you are missing from this wondaful look you have established." Ava pulled the right side of her skirt up a little, on her thigh was a flask held there by a garter. The flask itself had the family crest with the name O'Fee on the bottom.

"What exactly are we getting into?" Ava was wondering with a hint of excitement in her voice. Soon after the doors were open again with Keti walking in, he was dressed in a sharp black suit with a bowtie. This was an event that Keti would opt out of, but this time he knew it would be better if he did. He went to a quiet corner of the place, he was taking the opportunity to climatize before getting closer. "Evie I am here only because of you, I know you will pester me because I didn't come." He suddenly had a look of confusion. "I am still not sure what we are doing here, the only thing I know its going to be fun." There were still parts of him that were described as uptight, but some of the crew would know he has changed a lot since the first time he entered a Star Ship.

"It's all fun and games," Charlotte said as she brushed her way passed the Holodeck doors.

"I just want to be entertained!" She called out lavishly as she entered through the doors, revealing a large lounge, bar, casino. The place seemed to have everything. Floating disco balls in the shapes of various solar systems sparkled over a dance floor that was flanked by intimate tables with plush velvet seating. On one end a Cheron bartender was already mixing drinks. Behind him open windows revealed that they were floating among the clouds, well above the horizon where twin suns were now setting.

"Welcome, welcome, my cherished guests," Charlotte called out as she took the bag of alcoholic liquors to the bar and set them down, and then turned around. She pressed her palms together dramatically and then opened them wide. "Welcome to Chez Consuela: The House of Singularities. I am, as you might have guessed Madame Consuela."

"We have a wonderful night planned here for you, have some drinks and get loosened up for the karaoke competition later, grab your main squeeze for a dance here at twilight, try your hand at one of our many games, and I didn't forget, Quantum Hand Galactic Series tickets are still available for purchase."

"Come, come, make yourself at home," she urged.

Izzy was still sticking close to Gath. They'd have time to commiserate before they needed to separate, they just needed to subtly find the rest of their team.

"That isn't Gath," Izzy corrected who she thought was Evie as she became fully immersed in her character. "You are talking to the Sunan Black, show a little respect," Izzy added before sticking a piece of chewing gum in her mouth. She then offered the Evie look alike a piece. "And who might you be?"

Gath was aware of the sisters and his attention to detail was sensing something a little off in the cadence of her words. He couldn't be certain yet, but he grinned as she lifted the skirt enough to reveal the flask.

He fell right into character and said to her, "I'm not sure if you're offering the flask or the thigh, but I'll gladly sample what the lady is offering in either case...or both." He punctuated it by lowering his glasses to get a good look at the goods and then lock eyes with her before giving her a wink and raising his glasses again.

When Izzy pointed him out and made introductions, Gath chuckled, "Well, not everyone travels in the same circles, my dear. Your fame is in the spotlight while mine is quite the opposite and I'm just fine with that. However, I do appreciate your enthusiasm, I truly do."

His portrayal of Mr. Black allowed him to say more of what was on his mind. His knowledge of the real person let him be a bit bolder than he might be otherwise. He certainly didn't mind being surrounded by beautiful women and getting to see them dressed much differently for a change. At this rate, he was going to have a hard time focusing on the goal of the game. They were such wonderful distractions though.

Making his way through the halls towards the holodeck where the other players would be gathering, A’kilees took his time to look to inspect his clothing in the reflection of a nearby defunct wall console. He had donned a beige jacket with a light blue silk inlay, a black long sleeve buttoned up shirt, a matching black pair of pants paired with a leather belt and a nice pair of black leather shoes. At his waist strapped to his belt was a communicator and behind his jacket concealed a phaser within a shoulder holster. A’kilees had chosen the outfit for its elegant simplicity and style but well tailored enough for the possibility of seeing any conflict, action or perhaps just a dance with a crewman if he was asked. The saurian couldn’t boast that he had been practicing before the event but felt he could pass if the occasion was more a slow dance. He took another moment in the hall, fixing the cuffs of his shirt and ensuring that the collar was just right. Satisfied with his adjustments to his outfit and he continued his way down the hall.

While he wasn’t going to be playing one of the heist members, he was going to present himself as Dominic Rooke, the establishment’s hardline intimidating head of security. A’kilees wanted to present a good impression of playing a more “villianous” character. He hadn’t performed such a role to date at that point. Sure he had a few performances of different types of characters while acting at the Academy and in the holodecks alone but this was the first time he would be acting as a character in front of his Zephyr crewmates. It was certainly going to be an interesting challenge to play a character and to try and outmauver the other players as well.

Coming around the corner, it appeared that Charlotte was welcoming Isabel, Doctor O’Fee and Lieutenant Gath into the holodeck. Quickly following the trio through the holodeck doors, revealed a large lounge with floating disco balls in the shapes of various solar systems sparkled over a dance floor that was flanked by intimate tables with plush velvet seating. The bar was manned by a Cheron, and the casino floor was filled with slot machines and card tables each with their own dealer of various alien species attending them. The sight to behold however were the large windows where the twin suns set among a cloudy sky. After admiring the scene he made his way over to the group.

“Hello Doctor, Lieutenant, Izzy!” nodding to the three respectfully. “I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with you today.” Then turning to Charlotte and in a much deeper voice than usual, bowed with reverence towards the proprietress and changed into his character. “Good evening Madame, you are as radiant as usual. Your mere presence makes even tonight’s sunset jealous, I daresay.” A’kilees said and he stood up portraying a feeling of reverence towards her. “Are these your guests for this evening?” he asked in a cool somewhat masked supercilious tone peering an eye towards them.

She was completely unaware that Evie had a relationship status change, or she would have had her ring the correct way. She had a devilish smile taking a sip from the flask then elevating her leg so her leg was in a thirty five degree angle with foot on his knee. "A drink like this is better as a shared drink, most people would be on their fanny after three of these." She extended the flask to him, and smiled at Izzy.

"Nice to meet you in the upright position, the preferred method over seeing them in a bio bed." In other words she loved meeting people at their best, not because something happened and they need help. "Izzy I think its about to get a little more interesting." The door opened with Evie walking through in the exact same dress, there was one difference that Ava noted, Evie had her right hand up showing ava the ring. Ava knew right away what had transpired. "Gath its about time." She gave him a wink knowing that he was the topic of conversation for a while now, she was just too nervous to make the first move. "So now that you have my thigh, what are you going to do with it?" She wasn't sure how far this would go, but she was certain Gath knew exactly who she was.

Gath's instincts had been right...again. After Evie came in he knew for certain, but he didn't want the opportunity to slip away so he acted quickly. As if it were a sparring match, he shifted his leg that her foot was on slightly and stepped into her Using his hand to grab her thigh and hold it against him, but high enough that her knee was now behind his hip. His left hand had slid under her right arm and he pulled her to him, his grin and small growl of approval got her full attention for a full second as he stared into her eyes.

"First of all, your sister doesn't refer to me as Mister anymore. Secondly, she already knows I like that particular batch you two made. Third, you aren't accustomed to being scrutinized by a predator like me, and I was suspicious from the beginning. Fourth, from this close, I can see the subtle differences in your eyes." He leaned in and took a long deep breath, nearly burying his face in the hair by her ear. "Fifth, I can smell the difference between you." His grin got wider as she held her breath for a fraction of a second, "Hmmm...not exactly afraid of me, that's good. No, that's...excitement I sense."

Still holding her in that mildly awkward position, he move his hand on her thigh just enough for her to understand he was enjoying the moment and comparing the feel of that as well. Before she could say anything about it though, he raised his head enough from her that she no longer felt his breath on her cheek when he said, "A bit of a shame actually. I was rather looking forward to finding out if you kissed like she does or not. It is amazing how much you can tell about a person from a kiss."

After another long second, he slowly released his grip on her exposed thigh and let her leg slide down to support her once more. He kept his hand in place long enough that it caused her skirt ro ride up a bit, letting his hand slide along all the way to her hip before letting the skirt fall back into place.

It wasn't until he released her with his other hand that she was able to break their chest to chest contact and he said more casually, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Ava."

The last was finished with a tiny nod of the head as a symbolic bow of sorts. His eyes then turned to Evie, "There you are. I was beginning to miss you. Your sister and I were just getting to know each other."

He looked from one to the other, "I can see where some people would confuse the two of you." He didn't say more, but another small growl of approval escaped him as his eyes enjoyed the view of the double trouble in front of him.

Charlotte looked with approval as A'kilees bowed to her in full character.

"I dare say, they seem to be. I was just hoping to make some proper introductions, but now that you have arrived, that seems a right and properly job for you to do, Mr. Rook," the Madame suggested, her nose now in the air. "I dare say I caught a glimpse of a tawdry flask. I must send some servers over to get their orders, get proper drinks in their hands."

"Can you take care of this for me, while I see who else has arrived?"

As Charlotte walked away, the program started to pick up the pace a little. Soft piano music filled the lounge, and more servers walked the casino tables with drinks as holoproprieters had shuffled in from no where and began playing games. Soon, Gath and company had a pair of servers - one male, one female, both scantily clad approach them and offer to take their orders.

Charlotte seemed to glide across the room, her jewelry and headpiece now softly changing colors. It was difficult to tell if it was an optical illusion from the different lighting in the room, or if it was a trick of the jewelry. Soon, she approached Keti, quite appropriately dressed for the venue, though for some reason keeping to himself.

"Hello, Monsieur," Charlotte greeted Keti formally. "Welcome to Chez Consuela, I am Madame Consuela Hyperion Cassiopeia, though you make call me Madame Consuela for short. May I ask what brings you here tonight? At Chez Consuela it is our pleasure to please you," she crooned.

Some tidbits to get you started....

About Chez Consuela: The House of Singularities

Architecture: It is a round, floating building on the planet of Hyperia VII. The building appears to consist of 4 large floors, there are five public turbolifts along the perimeter and one in the middle. They all have clear walls, so it can be seen in and out when they are in use. The House will use these, though they also have private ways of getting around the building.

There is a 5th floor, though its existence is only a mere rumor to the public, and only Consuela and her most trusted security agents know how to find it.

4th Floor: Where the Quantum Hand Series is being played, Tickets must be purchased to access this floor, there is spectator seating, food and drinks are served, some standard slot machines are available, and entertainment is provided during breaks.

3rd Floor: The Main floor where everyone came in, large lounge area, small dance floor, though this area is mainly going to be soft jazz type of music. To one side are your card tables, dabo, roulette, etc., sorted in a winding maze of chaos.

2nd Floor: Club like atmosphere, large dance floor, theme nights, private dancers available, Karaoke will be in the billiards area of this floor.

1st Floor: Private Suites, the main safe for regular payouts, places that can be rented out for events.

There is a separate safe that houses other prizes that are more unique in nature, such as the Aurelian Orison that is the grand prize tonight. This safe is moved nightly. Once you figure out where it is tonight, it will stay there.

The Proprietess: Madame Consuela’s family owns much of the region and she is very confident for it. Also, losing a little money here and there at the casino is no big loss for her. However, the House of Singularities has ways to somewhat control who wins. She likes to be entertained by the players moreso than rewarding good strategy.

[To help you keep track of who we have]
House:
Proprietess Charlotte: Madame Consuela Hyperion Cassiopeia
Security Akilees: Dominic Rook (Hardline, Intimidating)

Heist:
Izzy: Riot Siren (Indy Rock Singer)
Gath: Sunan Black (John Wick sort)

Ava: Still to be named, Irish barkeep outfit with hidden weapons
Keti: In a corner dressed in a sharp black suit
Evie: Just arrived

To arrive:
Sebastian: Tony Montana
NRC Luna Luna Hernández : Elvira Hancock

**Special note to all you naughty little players with weapons, this is a game, and Holodeck safeties are on. No stabbing the players. Phasers set to tag, as well as those precious knives.** Angel

Reposted from  Sebastian Cortez -  Crew Mess

== Location Crew Mess ==

Sebastian entered the Crew Mess Hall, there were several people scattered around, they were enjoying some down time, Sebastian recognized a few of them, He went to a replicator and ordered something to eat.

“Tacos al Pastor and a sweet Tea.” Stated Sebastian.

Tacos al Pastor, a Spit-roasted marinated pork shaved thin with a slice of sweet pineapple. The replicator made it almost as well as his mother. Sebastian gathered his food and found a vacant table.

“ Hola, Sebastián, ¿qué tienes ahí? ( Hello, Sebastián, what do you have there?)

Sebastian smiled, it was his friend, fellow Midshipman Luna Hernández, she was a Security Midshipman, she was from Quito, Ecuador. Her mother was a Professor of Physics and Assistant Professor of Astronomy, at the University of Ecuador, a civilian, but her father was Captain Hernández, Professor of Galactic Law at the Academy, her mother wanted Luna to go into the Sciences, and she thought about it, but she wanted adventure, to see the Galaxy. It was one thing to read about them, but another thing to experience them first hand.

“I’m having a little lunch and you?” Luna looked at Sebastian, “I was looking for you.”

Luna smiled and said, “I hear there is an event going on on the Holideck, your boss is running it. I hear it’s supposed to be a lot of fun. I hear your boss throws an incredible party. I heard the premise is that we will be robbing a Casino, or a Bank of some kind and you have to dress as one of the characters.” Sebastian looked confused.

Luna smiled, “ Have you seen the movie The Sting, or Ocean's Eleven, or The Italian Job, maybe Inside Man. It’s about organized crime. Sebastian was a little confused.

Maybe, we could go as Tony Montana and Elvira Hancock, you know from Scare Face. Luna took out her PADD and searched for the 1983 Terran movie Scar Face.

She then typed [ Describe what Tony Montana from Scare Face and Elvira Hancock would wear going out to a night club.]

[ Tony Montana

Tony would lean heavily into the flashy, wealthy, nouveau-riche Miami look:

White or cream silk dress shirt, worn open at the collar with several buttons undone.
White, cream, or light-colored suit jacket, probably with broad 1980s shoulders.
Black or dark trousers to create contrast, or matching light-colored suit pants for an even more extravagant look.
Black leather dress shoes, highly polished.
Gold jewelry, particularly a thick gold watch and possibly a gold chain.
His hair would be slicked back, with the distinctive full dark hair of Tony's character.
He'd probably carry himself with that characteristic swaggering, overconfident posture.

The overall impression: expensive, flashy, masculine, and deliberately conspicuous. Tony isn't trying to blend into the club—he wants everyone to know he's arrived.

Elvira Hancock

Elvira's style would be much more elegant, sophisticated, and glamorous than Tony's:

A sleek, form-fitting evening dress, likely in black, white, champagne, or another understated color.
A deep or plunging neckline consistent with 1980s evening fashion.
High heels, probably matching the dress.
Gold jewelry, but considerably more restrained than Tony's.
A small designer-style clutch.
Her blonde hair would be voluminous and carefully styled, characteristic of the period.
Makeup would be polished and glamorous, with emphasis on her eyes and lips.
A fur or elegant evening wrap could complete the outfit if they were arriving at an upscale venue.

The contrast between them is important: Tony dresses like a man who wants to demonstrate his wealth; Elvira dresses like someone who already assumes she belongs among the wealthy.

Together, they'd look like a quintessential 1980s Miami power couple—Tony loud and ostentatious, Elvira cool and sophisticated.]

Sebastian liked Luna, and she really seemed to have her heart set on it. “Alright,” said Sebastian. Luna squealed with excitement. “Don’t worry, I’ll handle the costumes.” Said Luna with a huge smile on her face.

==NPC Ava O'Fee==

Ava couldn't help but to gasp a little with his hand on her thigh, he bit the bait but only went so far. From there Ava started to get to know why Evie likes him, he gave her a little excitement being so forward like that. The facts she was busted for one didn't even enter her mind until now, both had a slightly different body chemistry creating a different smell. "I can see why my Sister likes you so much." Ava had a playful tone. "Our mother always told us to never live with regret." Ava kissed him in the same way that Evie did, even with everything being exactly the same. There was one thing different, Ava just didn't have the passion her sister did. A few seconds into the kiss Ava would swear he seen it coming, he was just too prepared.

In this kiss Ava to receive what she would call transferred memory, she could feel how Evie felt during her kiss with him, plus what she was wearing. Ava could feel the passion in the kiss on both sides, from him right now it felt like two teens kissing for the first time, they both really want to but have no idea what to expect. Ava stumbled a bit backwards quickly feeling someone stabilizing her. "Ohh yeah this one is a real firecracker, I bet one day the three of us could really." She quickly looked over at Evie. "Really?" Her voice was a little sharp on that word. "At least this one wont be intimidated by our Brothers like the last guy, ohh and Gath Evie already told you what I am about to say." Ava switched her ring around so the heart was pointing inward.

'Relax Gath this doesn't mean what you think I am just keeping our costumes the same, if it meant that you would have to place it on my finger to mean anything at all." Ava had her devilish smile.

==Evie.==

During the kiss Gath could tell that it didn't bother her one bit, like it has happened before. Evie gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I was missing you too." Evie knew exactly what Ava was up too, plus how far she was willing to go. "I am happy you two had a chance to talk, and she likes you and respects you. That's one big thing she didn't do with the last boyfriend, when we broke up she had a gone away party." At first Evie thought the whole thing was mean, until she seen all the reasons she should never have been with him.

In the past Evie had been on a couple of dates until Ava came by, in less then five minutes it went from nice to awkward. Evie would ask if he was leaving her before or after dinner? This was a question that Evie wasn't going to ask Gath soon. "Gath there is one question we both want to ask." Evie looked at Ava nodding her head, both spoke in perfect unison. "Would you like to be a Dead Rabbit with us?" It was just for the sake of this program to give it a more enjoyable spin, all in character. Both gave Gath a hug at the same time.

Just as a joke Evie couldn't help herself, but Ava had the same idea again in unison. "Don't worry our brothers won't want a kiss from you, Mom might but not Dad." Both laughed a little together. The bar tender came to them asking for their drink orders. Ava quickly piped up. "Two fingers of Irish Whiskey, and make that three of them." The last time Ava ordered a drink for a man it was a Sherley Temple, an insult to those who knew what it meant.

==Keti==

Keti was enjoying himself watching what was going on, he loved the fact both Ava and Evie were together again. Being around just one felt like there was something missing. "Top of the evening to you Las." Keti said with an almost passible Irish Accent. "I am here because a couple of Banshee told me I needed to lighten up a little, try to enjoy myself so here I am." People that were getting to know him could tell there were big changes along the way, he was starting to really enjoy himself. "What would you suggest for someone who probably had a dozen drinks in their life?" Keti didn't really enjoy the feeling of being drunk.

==If they don't want to be stabbed they shouldn't be on the business end of the blade LOL j/k the weapons are Holographic too. Keti for this is going by Liam, and Evie and Ava are just going with their proper names. Adding in that they are part of the Dead Rabbits.==

Gath responded to the kiss, "I have to admit that you both kiss very much the same. If not for the difference in your breathing, I might have actually been fooled by that test alone. Mark me as intrigued."

As Ava explained the thing with her ring, he smiled again and replied, "Well, we've only just met. It might take an hour or two to get to that stage." He gave a playful wink to punctuate it.

The two sisters then began something he had seen with twins before. They were talking at the same time. Sometimes they said the same thing at once and at other times, they alternated who was speaking, but spoke the same sentence as if it were one person. When they got to the Dead Rabbit thing, there was some reference that tugged at the back of his mind. In his histories, he had come across that name before, but other than knowing it had been associated with some ancient gang conflicts, he couldn't say more. He likely only came across it once or twice, but in an odd way he figured he could piece it together that they were their own gang.

As they hugged him in unison, he actually threw his head back and laughed, "All right! Of course I will. Who could resist such an offer from the likes of you ladies." He did his best to imitate an accent and said, "We be the Dead Rabbits!" As he finished his declaration and both women were still hugging him, each felt a hand firmly placed in an affectionate grip on their backside in a manner that highly suggested a strong familiarity...so to speak.

Gath was greatly enjoying the moment, but part of him was also a tiny bit worried. It was nice to flirt and to play games as such, but part of his brain actually worried that these two ladies might truly be competitive enough, or unified enough, to consider something more. He was more than acquainted with such relationships, but knew that they rarely worked out for long, for many reasons. However, these two women were different than any others he had ever known. He pushed it aside as a foolish thought. He had barely moved from the friend zone to something more with Evie, so it was silly to let such thoughts take any more of his time. He would not consider such a thing again unless they gave him reason to do so.

As a server brought them their order, he took the one offered to him, "Ah yes! Drinks!" His deep voice booming across the room announced he was indeed Klingon.

The holodeck doors opened, and Sebastian and Luna stepped inside.

He looked down at himself and adjusted the white suit jacket. His cream-colored silk shirt was open at the collar, a gold chain resting against his chest. He looked toward Luna Hernández.

She had dressed as Elvira Hancock, wearing an elegant, form-fitting evening dress, high heels, and carefully styled hair. She looked him over and smiled.

"Tony Montana?" she asked.

Sebastian grinned. "And you're Elvira."

"Apparently."

Sebastian offered his arm. "Ready?"

Luna took it. "Ready."

Neither of them knew much about the world they were entering. The only information they'd been given was the premise: they and the rest of the crew were attending a party at an unfamiliar casino; a million ideas raced through his mind.

As they entered the party, Sebastian glanced around at their fellow crew members, each dressed in outlandish outfits, but that was the only word that fit: outlandish.

Luna leaned closer. "Remember, we're here to blend in."

Sebastian smiled.

"Don't worry. Nobody is going to suspect us."

Luna raised an eyebrow.

"That's exactly what worries me."

Sebastian laughed and offered her his arm again.

"Come on, Elvira. Let's go see what Ra’an has in store for us." He said.

Together, they disappeared into the crowd, completely committed to their roles.

Luna spotted her boss, Lieutenant Gath. She made her way over to him and smiled. “Evening, Lieutenant, Sebastian nodded to Gath; he liked Gath, as Gath had helped him during the mission to the alien ship. Gath had offered him a different helmet to help deal with his claustrophobia.”Evening, Lieutenant.” Said Sebastian.

==Charlie (Madame Consuela) & Keti, a quiieter corner near the bar==

Charlotte placed Ketit's accent mostly by the language he was using.

"Top of the evening to you Las." Keti had greeted her. "I am here because a couple of Banshee told me I needed to lighten up a little, try to enjoy myself so here I am." People that were getting to know him could tell there were big changes along the way, he was starting to really enjoy himself. "What would you suggest for someone who probably had a dozen drinks in their life?"

"I am so delighted you would ask," Charlotte crooned. "Let's ask the House, shall we? House!, Give the young lad here some suggestions as to a beverage to start his night."

On her order, two floating spirits appeared, one orange and one crimson appeared, each had a head an arms, but their body seemed to fade a away mid torso.

The crimson one spoke first, "The Madame's personal recommendation is Sunset over Cassiopeia, a delicate taste, not too sweet with a marvelous presentation. Worth ordering just for the show."

The orange spirit floated around the crimson one as he spoke, "Though if you are about to try you luck at one of our many games, then Lady Luck's Last Hand is simply too much fun not to try. It's a house secreet, but the flavour changes with your luck, the more your win, the sweeter the nectar, throw a bad roll, your next sip might be a little sour."

The crimson one chirped again, "Thought our Hyperion Red Ale is a House brew with notes of Bajoran spice you might enjoy, and we have all your standard lagers, stouts, and spirits."

The two then spoke in unison, sounding much like a legal disclaimer, "All beverages are available in synthehol, or standard proof. Please drink responsibily."

Charlotte still in character grinned at Keti. "There is much to do and see here. Does anything strike your fancy to drink first?"

==NPC Isabel "Izzy" Molina, in character as Riot Siren==

As Charlotte left Akilees in charge of the group to scan the room, Isabel saw this as a perfect opportunity for her character to shine. Her character wasn't meant to be here as an obvious criminal, but someone who could provide more of a distraction, especially as the holo-characters began to recognognize her fame during the heist.

Charlotte had left  Akilees with some direction in his role, "I dare say, they seem to be. I was just hoping to make some proper introductions, but now that you have arrived, that seems a right and properly job for you to do, Mr. Rook," the Madame suggested, "Can you take care of this for me, while I see who else has arrived?"

As servers began to arrive to take their orders, Isabel sided up to the head of security and smiled, "So, Mr. Rook, Do you have a first name?" She asked sweetly. She toyed with one of her earrings as she flipped her hair over her shoulder.

Evie was happy that Gath joined the team, they were going to need Team muscle two was a great number. They have both Keti and Gath for that, as a Security Expert he could provide his knowledge for counter surveillance. Keti had computer skills that in this case could be put to bad use, the only time these skills can be employed while there was zero chances of a Court Martial. As soon as this gets under way Evie knew that intelligence gathering, part of that could include subterfuge, the very reason both Ava and Evie are dressed the same.

Evie and Ave were there to be be the distraction while the others can do their job, in order for this to work the two women couldn't have a line of sight between them. They could even use their beauty to secure certain items they needed from men, in the right hands a key card or physical key could be duplicated. Or a layer of skin cream could hold the hand prints they needed, the very fabric they were wearing would preserve the prints perfectly.

There were certain procedures that required a steady hand, and a brain that could handle the high pressure while keeping the hands stable, Ava had a special gift to use what she had to make up for what she doesn't, given enough time she could use the hydrogen from the air to make fuel for vehicle or bomb.

The three drinks arrived and Evie proposed a toast. "To a successful whatever this is." There was room on the team still, Evie just wasn't sure what part of this they could shore up.

==Keti==

It was an interesting fact about  the drinks, he was going to drink responsibly by that he was going to do it slowly. "My future wife would want me to try something new, I will try one of these Lady luck drink I think it would make my wife happy I tried." He soon learned the drink name asking for one for himself, and another for his new friend.

"We have to come up with some kind of toast, I hear those are important in weddings." He took a small sip and didn't realize there was some alcohol in it, synthetic the effects would take longer.

"I need my head clear so I can say I will have this one, I might have another." The great thing was if he had too many, there was a way to nullify it.

Sebastian looked around; everyone was dressed in fanciful costumes. He had to admit he didn’t understand what was going on. Was this a costume party, a Renaissance Fair, or just some Bohemian experience, the type where just explore different realities? He felt excited to be with Luna, but he also enjoyed this moment to unwind, especially after their current mission. This was an opportunity to relax and recharge, an opportunity to get to know his fellow crewmembers better.

== Luna Hernández, Security Midshipman, Temp. Security NPC ==

Luna looked around, she was unsure what they were supposed to be doing, normally she didn’t normally attend these type of events, as she preferred to unwind in her quarters weaving, she had ancient loom and relaxed by creating intricate native designs from her home country of Ecuador, designs of the Kichwa, Salasacas and Saraguros, but as she was a Security Officer she often found solace in the gym. Luna recognized a few people despite them being in costumes

“Sebastian, what are we supposed to do?” said Luna, her voice filled with confusion. Luna felt bad as she had convinced him to go to this event.

Sebastian could sense that Luna was uncomfortable. Then Sebastian spotted Doctor O’Fee; she wasn’t hard to miss, her brilliant red hair gave her away.

“Follow me.” Said Sebastian, taking Luna by the hand. He led Luna over to Dr. O’Fee.
“Excuse me, Doctor. I hate to break character, but I’m not sure what we’re supposed to be doing. Sebastian then realized he was being rude. “Oh, forgive me my rudeness, Doctor O’Fee; this is Midshipman Luna Hernández. Luna, this is Doctor O'Fee; she is our C.M.O.; she is amazing.” Said Sebastian.

Sebastian idolized her, as she had been very helpful in dealing with his claustrophobia during their mission.

Luna smiled; she had been meaning to get into Medical for a checkup, as it was standard for new crew members. It’s just that they had her hit the ground running, as these Aliens they had rescued had kept everyone busy.

“Hello, Doctor, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” Said Luna, as she offered the Doctor her hand.

It was a good feeling putting together a team for this bank robbery, even if it wasn't exactly in the manual. Join Star Fleet be a leader rob a bank, typical words to bring people in. Soon Sebastian came with a little friend of his, they both wanted to be there just were not clear about why.

Evie couldn't help but to keep a smile. "This isn't exactly a place to stand on ceremony, this is just a place to relax." Evie kept her tone friendly. The activities in the holodeck should be starting soon, it was just a matter of when.

“Hello, Doctor, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” Said Luna, as she offered the Doctor her hand. Evie gave her hand a shake and gave her a greeting hug. "Lovely to meet you Luna I have to admit there was one other Luna I met, she would make an amazing team member. Right now we are waiting for this whole thing to start, it is a bank robbery scenario. Anyone who has ever so much as daydreamed about doing this knows it takes more than just a quick flirt and a smile, it takes a team of people." It did give Evie a chance to expand.

"With that in mind I am assembling a team, anyone who wants to be on it can. Right now I have Gath he is my security expert, and counter surveillance. The police will see everything we want to see when we want them to, they will use other means to sneak a peak. Gath here will be ahead of them, as well as being part of the muscle." She pointed at Keti who was in another conversation. "He is also team muscle and hacker, banks carry physical cash and virtual. Keti is going to hack the systems placing the banks virtual money into a serries of numbered accounts, in an appropriate time the money will be placed in accounts for the teams. Each team member will be issued a bank card, pass code to be determined by the user."

Evie had a small smile. "My sister and I have the job of obtaining physical things needed to pull this off, sometimes they just need the right convincing to give us what we want. We are also the people gathering intelligence, in this the more the better. Where the cameras are, how many guards what kind of guns they carry." Just then Evie realized they didn't have anything for an exit strategy. "If you want to be part of this we need crowd control, someone good with drone helicopters and cars. When they are chasing our distractions, we will come out of hiding making a clear get away."  Just then Sebastian would see a second women that looked exactly alike to most people, he just managed to pick the right one. This was a great program that Evie never thought she would be part of, now that she was Evie was all in.

"One other avenue I just thought of are two sleepers, these people pose as hostages. They help keep the crowd calm and co-operative, they are a giant asset who also gives the cops the information we want them to have. Or if you have an idea I would love to hear it." Evie wasn't sure how much of this was really needed, but the term over kill was under rated.

Gath smiled and greeted the new arrivals, "Ah, glad you could make it, Sebastian. Turning his gaze to Luna and giving an appreciative nod, "Luna, you're looking quite stunning this evening. Glad you could join us as well."

He let Evie do most of the talking before he added, "I hope to give them a few surprises, should the need arise. The challenge here is that I'll be trying to employ primarily non-lethal means, which makes it far more challenging. It helps that the holodeck safety protocols are in place, in the event things get out of hand or someone misses their target and so on. Any gear you get, be sure you have the program replicate a version of it through the system, so it is safe. After all, we're here to have fun."

Gath took a moment to say to Evie, "I may need to fake some injuries at the end of this, so you can...tend to my wounds. Does your sister know how to work a dermal regenerator too, it would seem rude to leave her out." His voice had a distinctly playful tone to it, very unlike how he typically behaved while on duty.

Sebastian smiled now that they had some clarification; he had to admit he hadn't anticipated robbing a bank, but he and Luna were both relatively new to the Zephyr.

Clearly, the crew of the Zephyr celebrates the end of the mission in unique ways.

“Doctor, as Star Fleet officers, are we allowed to participate in a Bank Robbery?” Said Sebastian with a truly perplexed look on his face.

Yes, maybe it was meant as fun, but to a casual observer, it was the equivalent of Bajorans celebrating the Cardassians invading their planet; it didn’t make sense.

== Luna Hernández, Security Midshipman, Temp. Security NPC ==

“Wait, what, a bank robbery? Are you serious? I’ve read about those back at the Academy.” Said Luna, her voice laced with excitement.

Luna was excited at the notion of an actual bank robbery. She read about them, even watched old Holo movies like Dog Day Afternoon and Bonnie and Clyde. Yes, she understood they were fictional accounts based on real events, but it was still exciting,

Luan was surprised when the Doctor O’Fee said, "With that in mind, I am assembling a team; anyone who wants to be on it can. Right now I have Gath. He is my security expert and counter-surveillance. The police will see everything we want to see when we want them to; they will use other means to sneak a peak. Gath here will be ahead of them, as well as being part of the muscle."

Luna looked at the Doctor. “Gath, as in Chief of Security?” Luna would never have suspected Gath of engaging in something so contrary to the image of Law and Order.

"One other avenue I just thought of are two sleepers; these people pose as hostages. They help keep the crowd calm and co-operative; they are a giant asset who also gives the cops the information we want them to have. Or if you have an idea, I would love to hear it." Said O’Fee,

“We’ll do it; we’ll be the sleepers.” Said Luna. “ Sleepers?” Said Sebastian.

“I don’t fully understand what a sleeper is, but we would like to join your team, if it’s alright.” Said Sebastian, as he could tell Luna was excited by this.

Luna snapped to attention when she heard Gath address her and Sebastian. "Ah, glad you could make it, Sebastian. Turning his gaze to Luna and giving an appreciative nod, "Luna, you're looking quite stunning this evening. Glad you could join us as well."

‘Oh, thank you, Lieutenant Gath, sir. " Her voice is a little nervous. Luna felt a tad uncomfortable, seeing her commanding officer out of uniform; it was like seeing your Calculus Teacher in high school at a water park, with him dressed in a Speedo.

Hearing this Evie knew exactly what he was saying, Evie went and gave him a kiss on the cheek.  "In a pinch my sister is an excellent nurse, she helped me with my studies." In a pinch Ava had the ability to treat small wounds, she also had the ability to do triage. "Now here is the thing, one of us is more than the average can handle." She started to whisper in his ear. "Get us both and we will answer the question what does a doctor look like blushing, and what the sight the three of us would make." They would all walk in together like they were in a big bar fight.

“I don’t fully understand what a sleeper is, but we would like to join your team, if it’s alright.” Said Sebastian, as he could tell Luna was excited by this.

"I would love to have you two on my team, now your part of the plan goes like this. You two go into the bank first, you are opening a new account you choose what kind." It really didn't matter. "Now when we start robbing the place people are going to adopt a herd mentality, what is good for one is the same for others. Sleepers help the herd mentality to do everything we say, it cuts down on the hero factor. No heroes no casualties, everyone goes home happy not to be hurt." The overall plan had many moving parts that were all equally as important, if one doesn't work they all wont.

"Even our very own Chief of Security is in on this, don't forget there is something that has been going around the Academy for years. Captain Benjamin Sisko took part in a Cassino heights, some say he did it because his entire senior staff was involved. That included his Chief of Security, there was no hiding the fact both enjoyed themselves." Evie loved the story no matter how many times she heard it, Evie started to hope their plan worked equally as well.

As Luna snapped to attention and got nervous, Gath held up a hand, "We'll have none of that tonight. This is guided by the rules of Ten Forward. We're out of uniform and rank is not supposed to be part of this. It is for fun and relaxation. If you must question the morality of the game, then think of it as research. If you're going to catch criminals, then you need to know how they think. Imagine some of the stories of folk heroes like Robin Hood, who wasn't so much robbing from the rich to give to the poor, as he was returning tax money to them that had been illegally taken from them. Still, to do so, he and his crew supposedly robbed these officials and were outlaws, though in truth, they were trying to be loyal to the rightful ruler. It least that was the version of the stories I enjoyed reading. In a darker light, you might say that there are times when a good person must do bad things for a good reason."

He waved his hand dismissively, "However, the idea here, if things go well, is that nobody would be harmed and the story of it depends on who is telling it. Who are the good guys or bad guys? Are we rival gangs? Is what we are stealing actually something that secretly belongs to someone else? It's a fictional setting and we get to have fun with a little character acting." He smiled at Luna, "I know that I can be rather strict while on duty, but it is moments such as this that allow us to see that we are all still just people at heart. When we go back to work, we're still on the same team and it might even inspire us more if we're friends and family in each other's eyes. So have fun, that's an order."

Gath laughed at his playful order to have fun. When Evie gave him a kiss on the cheek and whispered some sassy thoughts to him, he even blushed a little and chuckled, pulling her close for a moment, "Woman, you might be the death of me yet, but what a way to go."

He genuinely enjoyed their banter and it was reflected in everything about him. When he touched her, it was often soft and caring. If his grip became firm it was for an affectionate reason. For all of his talk, he was never rough or harsh with her, though every now and then, Evie could tell that there was an animalistic hunger in his eyes that said he could be, if that was something she wanted. His boldness never crossed the line, because there was also a protective aspect to it as well.

Gath was comfortable letting people know that he cared. The fact that he took the time to try and put Luna at ease wasn't something he had to do, but in a mentoring way, he wanted to help her understand the deeper meanings to doing such activities together. He didn't try to make people fear him. He preferred trust and respect. Fear was something he reserved for his enemies, not his friends.

Sebastian smiled as Luna was really getting into this, though she was also slightly intimidated by Lieutenant Gath. Luna was a bit surprised when Gath said, “We'll have none of that tonight. This is guided by the rules of Ten Forward. We're out of uniform, and rank is not supposed to be part of this. It is for fun and relaxation. If you must question the morality of the game, then think of it as research. If you're going to catch criminals, then you need to know how they think. Imagine some of the stories of folk heroes like Robin Hood, who wasn't so much robbing from the rich to give to the poor as he was returning tax money to them that had been illegally taken from them. Still, to do so, he and his crew supposedly robbed these officials and were outlaws; though, in truth, they were trying to be loyal to the rightful ruler. At least, that was the version of the stories I enjoyed reading. In a darker light, you might say that there are times when a good person must do bad things for a good reason.”

In many ways, Gath reminded her of her father, Captain Hernández, Professor of Galactic Law at the Academy. He was a strict man who expected the best from his students. Her parents had raised her to be respectful. It was always, “Yes, sir. No, sir. Yes, ma’am. No, ma’am,” and one always showed respect to one’s elders. Gath was older than she was. Granted, not by much, but still.

Luna, still standing at attention but a little more relaxed, said, “Hija, Sogh, ’ach HIp tuQbe’lu’mo’ neH batlh vuvnIS je Qu’. (Yes, Lieutenant, but just because one isn't in uniform doesn't lessen one's duty to show honor and respect.)”

Her Klingon was perfect.

“Relax,” said Sebastian. “Think of it as a training exercise.”

Sebastian knew that Luna would probably relax around Gath once she really got to know him. He leaned over and whispered to Luna, “Rumor has it the Chief is an amazing painter. Oil, I think.”

Luna looked at Sebastian and then at Gath. She recalled her mother taking her to see a Klingon art exhibition in Boston when she was a teenager. She had been fascinated by the raw passion of the Klingon artists. You could see the power of the warrior beneath their clothes. To say that Klingon artists were surrealists was something of an understatement. Klingon art centered on epic battles of the ancient past.

Luna whispered to Sebastian, “Do you think the Chief would let me see his work?” Her voice was filled with excitement and hope.

“I don’t know. Ask him, but not now. Listen to the Chief,” Sebastian instructed.

“However, the idea here, if things go well, is that nobody would be harmed, and the story of it depends on who is telling it. Who are the good guys or bad guys? Are we rival gangs? Is what we are stealing actually something that secretly belongs to someone else? It's a fictional setting, and we get to have fun with a little character acting.” Instructed Gath.

Luna started to relax a little; she was so happy Pedro was with her.

“I know that I can be rather strict while on duty, but it is moments such as this that allow us to see that we are all still just people at heart. When we go back to work, we're still on the same team, and it might even inspire us more if we're friends and family in each other's eyes. So have fun. That's an order,” Gath instructed.

Sebastian smiled and looked at Gath.

“Alright, Chief, what are your instructions? What do we say to the other hostages?” Sebastian asked, his voice carrying an excited edge.

It hadn't even started yet, and it was already more fun than he'd had in a while.

Keti was enjoying his drink and as described the flavor did change, it brought him to think of ways how he has changed. As his friends would say for the better, his first drinks were with a couple of Gingers. They made sure he didn't over do it, then made him feel better in the morning. He couldn't help but to chuckle when he thought of why they both stopped calling him Mister, they were trying to get him to lighten up and enjoy himself. Back then none of them were at their best, made some mistakes along the way. The big thing they didn't regret was being together, it did help him remember what was important. It was the first time he really wanted to change, it took longer than thought but people had a way to get through to him. A lesson that continues to this day, he has come a long way.

Too bad they couldn't do that again, Keti was going to be married soon. Aja wouldn't appreciate going down that memory lane, just cherish the memory not allowing it to jeopardize the future.  It also means he was jeopardizing his current situation, he was being rude to his friend. "I am sorry my friend I sort of got caught up in a thought." Keti blinked a couple times.

"I am still attempting to learn to relax a bit more, I am not sure how I am doing yet but so far seems good." He was going to do something later that he wouldn't have, even wanted to socialize more. "Are you planning a heist of your own? or building a team?" He wanted to see how Charlotte would answer.

Jack strode into the main casino hall, from the staff room. A tall lanky single male with an Australian accent and mannerisms, he was a regular employee of the the casino. His shift was about to start and moving to the roulette table he relieved the current croupier at the table.

"I'll takeover now," he said to the women croupier already at the table.

"Thank you, Jack," she said with a smile, "I thought you had forgotten me"

Jack smile back at her, "Not in a million years, Janette!", he replied with a wink of his right eye. The two where not quite an item, but they had dated a few times recently and there was definitely a spark in the way Janette had reacted with him.

"Come on you two love birds, lets get on with the game or I'll call your supervisor and ask him to get you two a room," said a gruff, loud but lightly jovial gambler at the other end of the roulette table.

"Of course, sir." Jack replied politely smiling at the man's attempted a joke." The man was a regular at this particular game of roulette for the last few week, and when ever he had to relieve a female staff member, this man had, well...

How many times do I have to put up with that joke from this git!

Raising his voice slightly Jack repeated, "Place your bet, please? Place your bets, please, ladies and gentlemen?" It was Jack's birthday and he was hoping for a quiet shift. Two nights ago there was ruckus at his table and he had to break up a fight. His supervisor told Jack had handled himself well. Jack really wanted to knock the two obnoxious bustard flat! But he refrained from doing that and simply made sure they were separated till security arrived.

The shift began well, the Git with only one joke had lost a packet on his first bet with Jack as croupier and decided to cut his and leave.

Thank God for that! If that's the only incident this shift will be good.

Gath considered a moment longer and mused, "Luna, if you like, you can imagine this is part of an Away Mission, or at least training for one. We are trying to secretly blend in and can't appear as if we're part of Star Fleet. To do this, we need to blend in with the local social life. It helps if you have a bit of fun at the same time. Tonight, I'm Mister Black."

Drinks arrived and he was glad that he had not gone with the regular alcohol yet. He wanted to keep his head clear. Having a couple of drinks wasn't a problem, but he wanted to have fun and he felt as if it would be more fun if he was able to pay attention. It appeared that fate was giving him more to pay attention to these days than he would have anticipated. It was amazing what could change in a relatively short amount of time.

== GM Amila - Begin  Act II ==

As the crew were getting comfortable with their respective roles, and mingling with one another both in and out of character the House lights suddenly grew dim. The second of the twin suns had already disappeared under the horizon, and only those closest to the window could see the faintest orange glow. It was the beginning of the blue hour, both outside and inside of the lounge, the effect of twilight deliberately overcoming Chez Consuela’s main floor. A portly man dressed in a purple tuxedo took to the stage.

He clapped his hands together once, and tugged first on his right sleeve with his left hand, then mirrored the gesture which triggered a brief display of colorful fireworks to explode from his cuffs.

“Come one, come all. I am Professor Magnifico P. Glitterby, Master of Ceremonies, Illusionist Extraordinaire,” he announced enthusiastically, pressing his hands together as if he were about to unveil a great surprise.

“There is still time,” he announced. “Last call and just two seats open if you’d like to try your luck in the Quantum Hand Tournament. Buy in is 1,000 Bars of Latinum, but the prize is so much more. See Chelina upstairs to secure your spot before the last one disappears.”

Glitterby did a spin and disappeared only to reappear on a new, higher stage in the middle of the bar.

“Spectators may purchase tickets at the door. Yours truly will be performing at intermission.”

Behind him and light to his lift eight more croupiers began to file into the gaming area arriving from out from somewhere behind the bar. They marched in a two by two until they each got close to their assigned tables where they broke off and lit the tables up and began announcing play. (They are dressed like NPC Jack Riscoe.)

Glitterby tapped a toe and a straight purple cane accentuating his suit appeared in the air and he snatched it and began writing in the air.

Live Music Downstairs

The words spelled out in bright lavender smoke that was illuminated by a trick of the mind.

Glitterby wiggled his hips and grinned. “But if dancing and outrageous tunes are more your style, the concert on the disco floor is free, but the drinks are still on you, hun.”

He then hopped off of the platform and turned his cane up over his head and it transformed into an umbrella that for no reason justified by physics carried him to the door. As he called out his last announcements, his voice seemed be getting further away though he remained in the room. “Or you are welcome to stay here with Madame Conseula where the Hour may be Blue, but  your spirits will  not…”

He then shrank in size until he was no longer visible.

BOOM.

There was another eruption of blue fireworks over the dancefloor and the music picked up to a more jazzy, upbeat tune. The lighting remained.. Well Blue, in varying shades of it anyway.

The artificial crowd in the holodeck applauded briefly, though the gamblers quickly went back to gambling. Charlotte applauded too.

A male Aenar and a female Andorian approached Gath, Sebastian, Evie, and their companions. The two were wearing complimentary outfits, white button up shirts that were tailored to fit and had “Chez Consquela: House of Singularies” etched in silver over their right breast. They also each wore a black utility apron around their belt and were holding digital stampers. They were selling tickets and collecting money.

“50-50 Raffle Tonight, How many tickets can we get you?” They offered.

Gath was feeling very spoiled with the company of the twins. He would not admit it, but secretly he feared such good fortune as it always seemed to attract something unpleasant to balance things out. Thus, he enjoyed it, but feared saying it out loud. He had an arm around each of them as the Aenar and Andorian approached and asked about tickets.

Gath glanced at the ladies and said, "We'll take three, one for each of us."

He was also starting to pay more attention to their surroundings. He had no idea what he was looking for yet, but he felt that he would know it when he saw it. His eye for detail had him looking at all of the details of the place and the people. Some were obvious filler like the guy removing glasses and disappearing into a service door, only to instantly pop back out to grab more. Such small subroutines were common and that door likely wasn't able to be entered by the actual players. When the door opened, you could never see inside and there was no light cast from it. There were lots of others though. Servers, attendants, bartenders and more.

Gath wondered how many of the crowd were insignificant and how many might be part of the plot. That was going to take more time and watching to determine. His attention was admittedly divided, not just between the program and his company, but between the two ladies in his company as well. He had obviously been originally friends and attracted to Evie, but he was now also feeling compelled to know Ava better. She was more like her sister than he expected her to be, but wanted to know her as her own person, because she deserved that respect. He would celebrate those small differences while savoring the similarities.

There was something that Evie couldn't resist about this quantum hand tournament, she had no idea what it was just that she wanted to try it. She didn't get dressed up like this for nothing, no matter what it was her computation were in for a lot. She gave Gath a kiss on the cheek. "This is something I have to do." Evie left to go to this tournament not knowing what she was getting into, just that it would be fun.

==Ava O'Fee==

She was left alone with Gath, Ava knew how much Evei likes the guy now was the time to fully figure out why. He was a very adventurous person. What she did know was he had strong hands that felt good on her skin, he was also fun to be around where the other guy was such a pill.

Ava grabbed his hand placing his arm over her shoulder. "I am in the mood for some dance, this Disco things seems best." Ava had a great dance in mind, it was more of a swing dance than anything. She required a strong man to do this properly, Gath seemed to fit the bill now it was time to see what he was really made of.

Gath was a little disappointed to see Evie head off to get in some gambling, but then saw the playful look in Ava's eyes when she mentioned dancing and he couldn't help but smile back at her.

Taking his sunglasses off and sticking them in an inside pocket of his jacket, he then took off the jacket undid an extra button on his shirt. He began to follow her, flexing his shoulders a bit and stretching his neck in preparation for a little bit of physical activity.

In a tone that was very devilish and playful he said, "Well, if the lady wants to dance, then we'll dance. Something tells me that you're good at this."

Sebastian gave Gath a small nod, then glanced at Luna. They both knew their roles, but there was one last detail to take care of before they separated from Mister Black.

They couldn't simply walk away from him as though they'd never met.

Sebastian stepped closer to Gath with an easy smile.

“Max Black,” he said warmly. “It's been a long time.”

Luna immediately caught on.

“Uncle Max!” she exclaimed, her expression brightening as she stepped forward and gave Gath a small kiss on the cheek. “I can't believe it's really you.”

Sebastian fought back a smile. The familiarity was exactly what they needed. Anyone watching would see nothing more suspicious than a young couple unexpectedly running into an old family friend.

“It's been years,” Sebastian added. “How have you been?”

Luna continued the charade naturally.

“You still haven't changed.”

Sebastian glanced at her.

“That's not necessarily a compliment.”

She ignored him.

“Mom would be thrilled to know we ran into you.”

“I'm sure she would,” Sebastian added, playing along.

They continued their casual conversation for another minute, discussing nothing particularly important. Luna laughed at something Gath said, while Sebastian occasionally nodded and added another harmless comment. To anyone watching, they were simply catching up with someone they had known for years.

Finally, Sebastian extended his hand toward Gath.

“It was good seeing you, Max.”

Luna smiled warmly.

“Maybe we'll see you again later.”

Sebastian gave Gath a friendly pat on the shoulder before he and Luna began walking away.

Once they were several steps into the crowd, Sebastian leaned toward Luna.

“Uncle Max?”

Luna smiled innocently.

“What? It sounded natural.”

“I'm just wondering when Uncle Max became part of my family.”

“You're welcome.”

Sebastian shook his head, fighting a grin.

“You know, for someone who's supposed to be a hostage, you're enjoying this entirely too much.”

Luna slipped her arm through his.

“You love me.”

Sebastian sighed.

“Unfortunately.”

She smiled.

“You really need to find a new word.”

“No.”

They made their way deeper into the casino, allowing themselves to blend naturally into the crowd. Soon they found an open blackjack table and took two seats.

A waitress approached, and Sebastian ordered a couple of drinks for himself and Luna. He deliberately chose something non-alcoholic. If things were going to go according to plan, he wanted his reflexes and judgment clear.

Luna looked at his drink, then at him.

“Non-alcoholic?”

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. “Yes.”

“We're in a casino.”

“I noticed.”

“People drink in casinos.”

“People also lose money in casinos. I'm trying to avoid both.”

Luna smiled sweetly.

“You're no fun.”

Sebastian gave her an exaggerated look of offense.

“I am plenty of fun.”

“Of course you are.”

The tone made it perfectly clear that she didn't believe him.

Sebastian sighed dramatically.

“You know, Luna, I'm beginning to think you don't respect me.”

“Oh, I respect you.”

“Thank you.”

“I just don't take you seriously.”

Sebastian stared at her for a moment, then shook his head.

“This is what I get for dating a woman who knows me too well.”

Luna leaned closer and kissed him lightly on the cheek.

“You love me.”

Sebastian's mock irritation immediately softened.

“Unfortunately,” he replied, fighting back a smile.

Luna laughed.

“See? You can't even pretend to be annoyed.”

“I can absolutely pretend to be annoyed.”

“No, you can't.”

Sebastian looked toward the dealer, as though appealing to an impartial authority.

“Did you hear that? I'm being bullied at the blackjack table.”

The dealer simply smiled and began shuffling the cards.

Sebastian sighed.

“Even the dealer is against me.”

Their drinks arrived, and Sebastian thanked the waitress before settling back into his seat. Luna picked up her cards as the first hand was dealt.

Sebastian studied his own cards carefully.

“Okay,” he said. “This is where I demonstrate my considerable gambling expertise.”

Luna glanced at his hand.

“You have a twelve.”

“I know.”

“You're staring at it like you've never seen numbers before.”

“I am evaluating my options.”

“You're trying to figure out what twelve means.”

Sebastian slowly turned toward her.

“I know what twelve means.”

Luna smiled innocently.

“Of course you do.”

He gave her an exaggeratedly irritated look before turning back to his cards.

“I love you,” he muttered.

“I know.”

“And you're incredibly annoying.”

“I know that too.”

Sebastian couldn't help smiling.

For now, they were simply Sebastian and Luna, a young couple enjoying an evening at the casino, catching up with an old family friend and playing a little blackjack.

Exactly the way they needed to appear.

And somewhere behind them, Mister Max Black was waiting for the next part of the game to begin.

==NPC Ava O'Fee==

Placing her hand over his on the way to the dance floor, Ava was going to enjoy this. One of the best ways that she got to know people was through dance, Ava would leave the Tango to Evie for her it was the swing. They were the first people to go to the dance floor so Ava got the choice of what kind of song, she requested the swing dance. Something with a nice tempo.

The two made it to the dance floor Ava made sure to have her back against his chest, his right arm was wrapped around her with her right hand in his. When the music started Ava twirled out of his grasp her dress lifted as the spin was at full speed, she stopped with her hand in his both arms at full extension. Twirling back to him Gath now had his arm wrapped around Ava holding her close, both facing each other the six inches he towered over her was clear.

Soon both were in sink Gath was impressively reading the signs that Ava was giving him, he spun her around his neck when she came down her legs were wrapped around his waste. Looking Gath square in the eye he could see the delight, he could tell that she was up to something. Leaning back Ava put her hand on the floor going into a slow cart wheel, after she turned and faced him again. She had a look in her eye that said incoming, with a quick flip Ava could feel him bring her to his shoulders. His hands went onto her thighs rising her over his head with her doing the splits, a quick twirl later she was on his shoulders again. Arching her back Ava was twirling around like a golf swing, down low swing back up to his shoulders before going back on the floor.

Both locked eyes as their motions almost mirrored each other, doing three spins to the right both maintained eye contact. It was either she was projecting her moves enough, or he had some kind of background in dance. When they were wrapping up the dance Ava had her right leg wrapped around him, left hand in his with their arm wrapped around Avas back. She smiled big at him Ava was out of breath, she wanted to talk but nothing came out at first. A few seconds later Ava finally got something out. Leaning back Ava closed her eyes knowing words would ruin the moment.
Ava finally managed to catch her breath.

“Wow.” The word came out quietly, almost breathlessly. She opened her eyes and looked up at Gath, her expression noticeably different now. The playful spark was still there, but beneath it was genuine admiration. “That was incredible.”

For a few seconds, Ava simply looked at him, as though she was trying to process what had just happened. Her chest was still rising and falling from the exertion, but she didn't seem to care. “I've danced with a lot of people,” she said, her voice softer now. “And most people need to be led through something like that.” She glanced down at their still-connected hands before looking back up at him. “You didn't.”

There was no accusation in her voice, no attempt to figure out some trick he had pulled. She sounded honestly impressed. “You watched me, understood what I was trying to do, and just... went with it.” Ava gave a small, almost disbelieving laugh and shook her head. “And when I changed direction, you were already there.” Her smile returned, warm and genuine. “That doesn't happen very often.”

She finally loosened her grip on his hand, though she didn't immediately let go. “I thought I was going to have to show you how I dance.” Ava paused, her eyes meeting his again. “Instead, you gave me one of the best dances I've had in a long time.” For once, she seemed almost at a loss for what to say next. Ava O'Fee wasn't usually the one left speechless. She squeezed his hand once before releasing it. “Thank you, Gath.”.

Gath... I mean Sunan Black would probably be noticing a lot more if his male procilvities weren't taking his attention away from the competition. But for now he's managed to pick up on the fact that there is something a little different with the sub-routines. Any character who handles money - whether that be from the raffle, from closing out a bar register, or during shift changes at the tables - when money is carried off of the floor, these individuals leave the floor a different way than the other characters.

As far as money...

Evie and Ava, the Irish Barmaids with some tricks up theirs sleeves are each packing a few dozen slips of platinum (tip money), and each have about $300 credits they are willing to spend tonight, unless they happen to win more at the table.

Keti's sporting about $1k credits he could comfortably gamble if he'd like and he has credit on the bars in investment properties if he'd like to buy into the game.

Sunan Black is sporting a few different credentials for credits that go to a few accounts that are difficult to trace. He's walked in so that the House sees him as having about $3000 credits to spend because he wanted to be noticed, but not make a scene.

Tony Montana and Luna Hawkins each have their own version of the Quadrant's version of the Black Card.

Riot Siren (Charlotte) doesn't carry her own money. She has people for that.

Jack Riscoe has about half a dozen slips of tip money on him now, but he just started shift.

*  *  *

Tickets to get upstairs range from 10 - 100 credits depending on if you want to sit on the floor or in the nosebleeds.

Fortunately for Gath, he was well trained in martial arts and his attention to detail certainly helped. He also knew enough about dance to read most of what Ava was doing. She almost threw him for a surprise with the one flip, but he managed to see how much momentum she had and knew how to catch her safely and turn it into a dance move. His Klingon strength made it look even easier, barely working up a sweat.

At the end, she gave him a breathless, "Wow. That was incredible."

He stayed close and breathed back, "Wow indeed...and yes, you are."

She expressed to him how the dance had made her feel and how he had, "...just...went with it."

He responded, "Well, when a beautiful woman wants to express herself to you and invites you to dance, you go with it. Normally, I would warn you that I'm currently interested in someone, but you already knew that. Your sister has been trying to teach me about your thing with your rings, but I'm still a bit new to the specifics. Would I be breaking any rules if I was also interested in you as well? I confess that I don't know you as well yet, but you both are singular in your unique nature and relationship that I felt it wrong not to say something. As you said, that doesn't happen very often."

He then lifted her hand and kissed it, but then turned her hand over, palm up and placed her ring in her palm, grinning in a playful manner, "Maybe you can explain it to me as well."

On the way back from the dance floor Ava knew she was going to feel that one in the morning, without the proper stretching she will feel what they call the pinch. Its a pain people feel the next morning after over doing it, you would think it stops people from doing it. She loved to dance like that, too bad the dance partners were hard to find. She loved the fact that Gath read her every move, she trusted him enough to risk some serious injuries.

"Well, when a beautiful woman wants to express herself to you and invites you to dance, you go with it.

Ava blushed when he kissed the palm of her hand, this was the second most passionate kisses there were. "I can see several people jealous of you right now, all of them dull." She wanted to be on a science ship and excited when she got there, then found out that they were as exciting as paint drying.

Ava smiled while removing her ring. "There are no rules against being interested in me and my sister, we have been with the same person before. Too bad he is getting married soon, we just don't know when. The thing is its really up to you, there are some that have no interest in being with twins, those people are strange."

Ava held up her ring. "There are four ways to wear this thing, anything on the left hand then there is usually a talk with Dad involved. He would be happy that we are interested in someone who isn't dull, can hold a drink, and has a great chance at surviving a family BBQ." She went off topic for a second going back. "Now for the right hand if I put it on myself with the heart facing outward than I am looking for someone, if I turn it around it means I am interested in someone, or basically not interested in anyone." She wore the ring like that for a long time.

"Now if you put it on my finger it means my heart has been taken by you, when I keep it that way its because I have given it to you or at least considering. With the kiss on the palm I already know your intent, I also have to admit when we were talking about you I was intrigued. After that dance you really swept me off my feet, in more than one way." She was amazed at the restraint he had, this really drove her over the edge.  "You should know even if I attempted too as twins, I can never hide anything from my sister." She brought him down to her level gave him a kiss that started as a small one, soon it was bigger lasting a few seconds. "Not even that I did that." Even Ava was a little surprised she did that.

When Ava blushed at his kiss to her palm, Gath's devilish grin widened briefly. "I suppose such people who are afraid of twins might be strange, but I imagine that they are simply afraid. I've learned that it is one thing to talk about something, but it is quite another to be brave enough to step into those situations that are more daring. Fortune often favors the bold, or so they say. You mentioned people being jealous of me and I don't even need to look around to know that's true. All I need to do is look at you and know there are envious people in this room. You and your sister are very bold. I like bold. You're both confident, smart, capable women. You each are like a rare gem, but together you compliment each other with such perfection that it defies description."

Ava described the rings again, from her perspective. "The statement that there is usually a talk with Dad, insinuates that this has happened a number of times before. This then tells me that there have been a number who came that close, but failed, as you're both still single. I certainly fit all of the criteria and I would promise that all of your family would also survive the encounter, should I be put to such a test, but I will not BBQ them. You stated that you already know my intent, which is fair, since I have made no effort to hide it."

He deliberately took her hand and held up the ring, placing it on her finger in the manner described, thus leaving no doubt of his interest. He again kissed her palm, but slower this time. When she kissed him again, this time he kissed her back, pulling her to him, but there was no aggression in it, only passion.

When they broke the kiss, he said, "You should both know that I would never do anything to come between the two of you...unless, of course...it was because there was room enough on the bed for us to all sleep comfortably."

When she went to step away, he held her a moment longer, "Give me a moment, to avoid disclosing too much of my intent to the public."

It was then that Ava realized how he was holding her. She deliberately shifted just a little and the placement of her leg against him confirmed her suspicions. He closed his eyes and took a breath, then let it out as he opened them and with another grin said, "Thank you for understanding. I do love the spell that you two weave. It seems that I'm powerless to resist."

He slowly released her, but it was still with a hint of reluctance, as if he didn't want her to move away from him. "Perhaps we should find our seats. We don't want to miss the excitement." The sarcasm in his voice was easy to pick up on.

As they moved, Gath appeared right at home. He moved through the crowd like a jungle cat on the hunt, but whenever the crowd was thick, he made sure to take her hand, so they didn't get seperated.

At one point, he stopped and whispered in her ear, "Notice those handling the money. When they leave, they all go through the same door and nobody else ever goes in or out unless it's one of them. That must lead to a secure area and likely has access to the vault. Keep your eyes and ears open. We need more information."

Ava could feel exactly how he put the ring back on her finger, it reflected what she said earlier. The thing was her father was very protective over them, so were her Brothers. They would get angry when one or both would see one of their friends, it happened a couple of times. Ava knew that once her sister returned there was going to be some explaining needed, they were going to have a great time together eventually. Both were going to be happy about the development, it was nice knowing Ava wasn't going to fall asleep during a date. Unless that was exactly what they wanted to do at the time, not because he was dull.

After Gath pointed out the patterns Ava started to recognize them as well, the same people going in and out. This was common in hospitality and yes it did lead to the vault, first was the count room. It was the only place the money would be all together, she had no way of what kind of safe they had. "We are going to need a whole new strategy." Ava started to sort things out, Evie was nowhere in sight. That part of the plan had a chance, while every other part needed rethinking.

Ava started to pay attention to what was going on around her, seeing any other patterns around her. She even started to pay attention to what was going on behind the bar. It looked lifeless behind there, like most places they did their job but it was plain. "If I can get behind the Bar, I can get a better vantage point." Ava said whispering in his ear while looking around. "I have an idea on how to gain a little more intel."

Moving back. "I thought this place was going to be fun, you can get drinks anywhere but the places that stand out don't put me to sleep." Ava said it loud enough for people to hear her.

Gath agreed, "Yes, we're going to need to find out more about the when and where of things. It isn't just location and access, but how to do so in a way that we're able to get in and out before things get too crazy as a result. Timing, misdirection and sleight-of-hand were going to likely be factors. We're only barely beginning to see small pieces of the puzzle so far."

He gave her a nod and said, "See what you can spot from the bar and I'll try to wait over here, but don't take too long. We need to get to our seats soon."

There was soon a discovery that she made, the weight of her outfit seemed off. She noticed it earlier but never paid much attention to it, Ava reached in a small pocket finding money she wasn't aware was there. "Its reasonable to assume my sister has the same." She wasn't sure how much she would have, or anyone else for that matter.

As Ava was dressed for the part she thought no one would question her going behind the bar, she quickly found where the current orders were finding the older ones first. Making those drinks she put her own flair on it, the bottles were flipped in and around her hands. The shaker was held up high and proud, this was the reason a lot of Bartenders had nice arms. Ava was great at the two handed long pour, perfectly blended acids sweets and alcohol.

Ava could feel how noticed she was behind the bar, so she hammed it up a little, one reason was to bring people closer in. The other was to see the reaction of Security, were they going to remove her from the bar? or keep a distance and watch what she was doing. Either way it took the attention off of Gath and directly on her, he had the skill set to identify things she wouldn't. For a couple of the drinks Ava was juggling two glasses and the shaker, when the juggling was done the drink was poured in a seamless transition. While this was going on Ava was keeping an eye on what was going on around her, was security going to move in? and if they do how long is their response time?

"I am still attempting to learn to relax a bit more, I am not sure how I am doing yet but so far seems good." He was going to do something later that he wouldn't have, even wanted to socialize more. "Are you planning a heist of your own? or building a team?" Keti asked Charlotte, wanting to see how Charlotte would answer.

She was about to respond to him when the program took over and a flamboyant Master of Ceremonies signaled the shift into the second part of the game.

After the Master of Ceremonies disappeared, Charlotte flashed him a smile. "Why, I am Madame Consuela, and this is my establishment," she announced gesturing around her. "Do you mean to tell me that there is to be a heist here tonight?!" She exclaimed in feign surprise.

"I must alert my security straight away. It will be stopped!"

Charlotte flashed Keti a smile and a wink before flittering off to find A'Kilees.
