Qi accepted the correction graciously. He had long since grown beyond embarrassment when it came to speaking other languages. It was part of the process.
“I thought I was holding my ears forward!” He laughed, trying to flex the weak muscles on either side of his head. This was going to be even harder than he thought.
Qi accompanied Beinn to the replicators and ordered a plate of gagh. He grimaced at the wriggling, brownish mass, hoping that he would eventually develop a taste for it.
“I wanted to thank you again for sharing your language with me. Do you ever make it back to the San-Tarah home world? I would love to join you some time if you don’t mind.”
