Lucy tried to quantify the results from the most recent scan of the qoH. Grains, other foodstuffs, and alcohol? The Klingons were known to be fond of a crate or three of bloodwine. For the sensors to identify it as a significant part of the ship’s cargo was bizarre. The other curiosity was the amount of sensor voids. A number of the sensor proofed containers in the cargo bay were to be expected, but the proportion was odd.
Most perplexing was the ‘empty’ area the length of the ship. Equivalent to two decks in height and 4 meters across. Something was increasingly off about the qoH. It was obviously a smuggling vessel, but the armaments weren’t sufficient for something of the Artemis’ level.
“Captain, getting strange dimensional readings from the qoH. Half a dozen containers shielded against sensors in the cargo bay and something running the length of the vessel about 2 decks high and 4 meters across.
“Sensors are picking up stores of grains, other foodstuffs, and alcohol.
“Forwarding sensor readings to Tactical.”
Lucy forwarded the sensor reading to Tactical, then ran another scan of the qoH checking for power levels from their Engineering section. It was a stretch, but the layout of the qoH wasn’t in her capacity. She decided she might as well include the Chief Engineer as maybe he had an insight and forwarded the readings to him. The qoH strayed outside the norms of ship design, but was that to be expected?
“Commander Jaein, have sent you the current sensor readings from the qoH. If you have any insights?”
It wasn’t as if there was a business in smuggling Kanar.
== GM input request, what are the current power levels of the qoH’s engines? ==
