"Keti is is exactly where he should be, both of us are walking the path of the Prophets. No matter how far, for how long we are apart. We are always close were it counts." Aja said. "There is no distance that can keep us apart." She said as she walked over and joined the others...
"She always was that way." Keti said as he finished his turn. "Commander I believe its your turn."
"Ah yes. Women can have that effect on us." Morad smiled as he prepared to take his turn and started throwing the darts. He couldn't help but feel a bit jealous of Keti for having such an anchor and stability in his life, but he was by far more happy for him then anything else.
One day... maybe...
The others joined again and the conversation turned more serious when Keti mentioned the small issue that took place on the bridge.
"Honestly, Jukish. I think you're fine," Amila said. "I wouldn't overthink it. Sothrick used to be your Captain. It was habit for both you. I'm sure the Captain gets that. It seemed to straighten itself out. And you're a good officer, intelligent. They lean on science a lot on Titania. It's a good place to be for us. There are a dozen other officers that could have been brought to the Bridge to help at the end, but Fields had you report back. I think you're fine."
"We were all going through a transition and getting used to each other. It is never easy when new crewmembers come aboard and learn to adapt. To think of it, I had a few similar incident when I first moved from Pioneer Outpost to the Copernicus..." Ameen chipped in. "You will be fine my friend."
He grinned satisfied in where his darts had landed then turned over the spot to Keti.
"Last round!" He announced as he walked over and stood next to Amila, Aja and Keir.
While standing, he noticed that the Captain was there too, catching up on some reading it seems.
"Captain Fields is here. Should we ask her to join us?" He looked at his colleagues as he asked.
I'm interested to see how they will handle this...
