The familiar hum of the transporter could be heard, momentarily drowning out the sounds of the now captured Bridge, before the beam claimed Pearson, Ostberg, Mortimer, Garvin, and Loren, taking them away to be treated. With the majority of her team gone, leaving just Ardanna and Captain Givens, the security Ensign took a moment to survey the change in their surroundings. The freighter bridge didn't look as ravaged as it had while those from Artemis dealt with the Klingons who had challenged them, even if it had been a bloody fight. It had cost them, but at least they had got a win, as she looked from the dead Klingon to the two they had secured.
She didn't know what would become of them, and it was above her paygrade to decide as her gaze shifted to the Captain, who ideally should have joined the others going back to the ship. However, Ardanna wasn't about to suggest that, as she decided to be proactive in asking what she should do next. When the hybrid spoke, her question was directed to Givens and Calleja since the comm channel was still activated.
" What are your orders, Captain, Chief?".
Deep down she wanted to check on her team and, more importantly, her friends, but that was something to do when they eventually returned to the ship as this mission was far from over.
