Ju heard Mara’s voice come back over the combadge stating that they needed everyone to secure any still breathing Klingon and get to a centralized location. Ju looked around the deck but didn’t think any of them had survived the barrage of protectors that Mara had sent down here with her. Damian would probably be glad she is treating me so well.. Ju herself wished to stand on her own two feet and hoped that she was doing a good enough job here to at least show people that she wasn’t just someone that dated the First Officer, or former First Officer, something to do with being a First Officer at this point. She wanted the to know that she had been accepted to the Artemis legitimately.
“Lets check the bodies for any fancy keys,” she told everyone simply. She helped go through the various bodies checking pockets and belts to see if anyone had some kind of shape keys. Ju figured that she might be able to help at the door even if they couldn’t find the key. Surely they could come up with something or Ju could fashion something. She already had an idea of taking measurements with her tricorder and figuring out how to create the key they needed off of the supplies on the ship. Surely, they could come up with something, they were all extremely smart people or they wouldn’t have made it through the Academy.
Ju came back to the center and looked at everyone else to see if they had found any keys. Whether they had or not, they headed for the lift so they could get back towards the others. Mara had sent out a ping earlier which would allow them to get back to Mara’s location without having to search the whole ship for her. I just hope I’m doing a good job, this is crazy, I barely saved this rust bucket from blowing up and yet here we are worrying about picking locks and figuring out what’s behind Door Number 3.
In the Cargo bay with the others, Ju found herself with Mara and some others along with the crew that she had taken to Engineering. Her eyes flickered between the two for a moment but didn’t insert herself in their conversation whatever it was. Ju couldn’t help being Betazoid but she could keep her brain in check and was fairly big on privacy of those around her. If she was asked to use it, she would, and there were times it was hard to keep her brain in her head when emotions were loud and boisterous.
“Can I take a look at the lock?” Ju asked motioning to the lock she assumed was in question. “If we can’t find the keys maybe I can make something that will work.”
If Mara didn’t mind Ju would step up to the lock and pulled out her tricorder to get a good scan on the lock. She wanted to get a good set of measurements, and a shape so that she would be able to copy it if possible. There were probably replicators around here somewhere and if not she could port back to the Artemis, make what they needed, and come back if need be.
==GM, did they find any fancy keys in Engineering? Also, does the scan Ju does go well?==
