A quick scan showed that this was a Klingon coh’Duqh model lock, and likely an older series of that model. Unfortunately, despite being purely mechanical, it was built with a scan-scattering alloy, meaning that she couldn't get a picture of what was going on inside the lock. The young ensign would need either some lock-pick tools (which Crewman Aitken had kindly brought) or some explosives (which he had also kindly brought).
==Han/Aitken, feel free to brute force your way through as you like.==

A quick inspection of the console showed two things.
First, the power was controlled by a small switch on the underside of the console, easily controlled while standing at it. Well, easily controlled when you were hale and healthy; it was unfortunately on the side with her injured arm, making it awkward to work for the poor captain.
Second, it wasn't Klingon. It also wasn't Federation, Romulan, Ferengi, Cardassian, or any other species that she recognized. It felt oddly familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Powered down, it was going to take a library search to try and figure it out. It might be easier to identify when repowered.
