Even at the slow pace he was enjoying his drinks, they were starting to hit him. It was only his third drink, and it was barley even touched. "So who is winning?" Came from a lovely young women who just joined in.
"I am not sure who is winning, but it doesn't matter everything can change very quickly." Just like any other game there was plenty of time until it was over, and anything can happen in this time. He was also enjoying the time just playing a game with friends, and Aja was with him enjoying the evening as well.
"That suggestion must have been made before s/he saw me play. Either that, or you two are throwing the game because you're afraid to lose to the command team,"
This confused Keti a little, was this one of those jokes he didn't understand? Or was it a statement that wasn't meant to be funny? "Isn't that we are doing? We have to throw in order." He closed his eyes for a second when he realized what it meant to throw the game. "If we threw this game wouldn't that be insulting? Or have no faith in." At this point Aja covered his mouth to get him to stop.
"You have to forgive the big guy, he still needs help in that area. He will give his opponent a fighting chance, but he wont allow an opponent to win. It takes all the sport out of the game." She was being diplomatic, or at least giving it a try. "I also like the idea of throwing in, I am not an Officer either but I am willing to give them a chance." Aja was the one with the sense of humor, and could tell Keti was getting better at it.
