== Crewman Derek Hernandez, Medical Orderly ==
The medical synthesizer cycle had barely finished before Hernandez grabbed the two pints of blood off the materializer. As per the CMO's orders, the device began its cycle again, and it would continue until told to stop. The device was far more complicated than a mere replicator, much more like a full transporter designed to recreate objects at the finest of scales, and as such it took a lot more time to do its work. The lanky crewman was out the door in a moment, headed at a run to the main surgical bay.
As he entered he saw the team at work. He suppressed a bit of queasiness as he saw the half-Vulcan doctor, Star, working on the bloody arm of the security officer. "I've got the blood!" he said a little too loudly.
The Head Nurse, Ito, motioned him over. She took one bag out of his hands and hooked it up immediately. The other was placed on a tray, ready to go. "Keep going," she said to Hernandez. "This won't last long." Hernandez nodded and headed out the door again. He was already regretting the large lunch he'd had just before red alert.
