==The Drunken Tribble Bar==
Amila was having a hard time keeping up with Keti, and she wasn't sure if it was the alcohol, an issue with the UT, or something else. She had asked about a wedding, and it seemed like he had called her by a colloquialism typically meant to address a paternal figure, but she was sure she had misheard him. Then, again he did seem to be feeling the effects of something. She thought about asking for clarification, but Aja kept talking for them, and it seemed better to just let it go.
"He is working with quite a few people to get both sides of the event, this is a big deal to him and he wants to do it right." Aja chimed in.
That part Amila could understand. "Oh for sure. Hopefully neither of you stress too much about perfection though. There's always only so much you can control, right?" Amila wanted to ask Aja more, but there were a few things happening around the table, and she was picking up on a couple of conversations happening at once.
Well, there was one - more of an announcement really, that had caught her attention more than the others. Commander Ameen sounded like he was ready to leave. She'd been worried about what he needed to talk to her about since he mentioned it to her earlier, and if he managed to slip out without her finding out it was going to bother her until she saw him again.
As Amila was working up the nerve to just go ask him she heard Keir as s/he tried to solicit the next player for darts. "OK folks someone should take some throws?"
"Take my turn, I think I'm out," Amila said as she gave Keir an apologetic look. "I gotta check on something."
Amila stepped cautiously as she walked toward where Ameen was sitting. When she approached him she stood close so that she could speak softly, and she felt her knees get weak with nerves. She realized the last time she had stood this close to him was on an away team mission a few years ago when they were undercover and playing a role. The memory made her smile despite her nerves. "You said we needed to talk?" She asked seriously.
