"Um... Yes, shall we?" Ameen pointed toward the door...
The door... Thoughts raced through Amila's brain. Of course they couldn't talk about whatever it was here. That's why he'd asked to walk her home. And they'd be seen leaving together. Gods, please don't let Samantha say anything about the two of us flirting in front of the Captain after we leave, Amila silently pleaded to herself. She'd just make a similar announcement about the hour and leaving too, and hopefully it wouldn't be a thing. The crowd was likely dispersing soon anyway, she couldn't imagine Keti could hang on much longer.
"Yeah, let's go." Amila stepped away and turned to the others. "I was heading out too. I hadn't really planned on being out at all tonight, but this was fun. We should do it more often. It was nice seeing you all outside of work."
Amila glanced Ameen's way and gave him a coy smile as she shrugged just her right shoulder as she took a few steps toward the door. "You walking out now?" She asked trying to sound as casual as possible, though what confidence she was feigning was hanging by a thread as she felt her voice could crack at any moment.
