Cass' head swiveled as if she had forgotten she had company on the bridge, her nose crinkling slightly before she nodded. "Start looking for any other signs of Dominion equipment or further hiding spaces, not necessarily for people but for important documents or items. A manifest wouldn't be terrible to locate."
It wasn't like Sven hadn't heard her side of the conversation, Dominion and all.
Her dark eyes turned back to the console almost immediately as she considered the layout. Despite not understanding some of it, it didn't appear too terribly different from other systems with the same purpose. She just needed to figure out what exactly it connected to and controlled.
She nodded her head slightly, wisps of hair floating with the movement, as Calleja answered regarding sending an engineer to her, specifically Han.
"Thank you, Chief. I'll let you guys know what she finds," she answered before purposefully beginning to tune out the expected squabble over Crawford's safety that was probably incoming.
She pulled her tricorder out with her good hand, intent on discovering how this console was interfaced with the rest of the ship.
As she waited for the results, she considered alternative avenues. There weren't many officers left that had actual experience with the Dominion and maybe a handful aboard Artemis herself. Crawford had likely missed the conflict by a few years as had Thorsdottir, though she suspected both had been inundated with the necessary war stories. There was PO1 Honstater in science but Cass didn't think he'd have pulled his nose out of his plants long enough to even notice a war was ongoing. There was the new FO, he certainly had the age to have been in service during the war. And then, there was Omdor, who certainly had some experience though maybe not of the traditional variety.
"Givens to Omdor. Can you step into the briefing room for a second?" Once she had confirmation that he had, she continued. "I've got a piece of tech here that you might be supremely qualified to look at. It's console of Dominion origin, maybe tied to a security system. Han is on her way up here to look at it but if you can tell me what to look for or come over here, we might be able to handle this quickly."
