The atmosphere on the Bridge was so tense it could've been sliced through, and the arrival of the diplomat certainly didn’t help. During the briefing two weeks earlier, Mika had a negative impression of the man and felt he was more like a Chertstone. Tomer clearly had an inflated opinion of himself and lacked the ability to gauge the mood in the room.
Having recently returned to the Bridge, Jensen made a courteous comment directed at the diplomat. It was somewhat humorous, particularly considering the trouble that Tomer had caused for the Yeager crew. She maintained a professional demeanor to avoid any potential accusations of disrespecting the diplomat.
