AT/D04-09 - Transporter Rooms

Cass' boots had no sooner materialized on the transporter pad before her mind began working through her tasks. Her shoulder was, of course, her biggest priority but the larger goal needed to be passing orders to the bridge.

Crawford had wanted orders passed to the helmsman, the young one. [I]Owlette? No, not a bird and certainly not a baby owl. Well...all midshipmen look like baby owls when they get all big eyes and nervous.[\i]

She frowned for a second as she tried to remember the kid reporting in. It was a hyphenated last name, which has helped her narrow it down slightly. Yes, she could have just given general orders to the bridge but general orders had a habit of falling through the cracks in her experience. Or multiple people duplicated work due to poor communication.

"Givens to Maxas-Darl. I've got a task for you from the Cap'n. She wants you to try to trace where the Klingon vessel came from within the nebula. We need to determine it's origin, use the sensor buoys if needed."

With that order given, she considered her options for getting treatment. She knew Sickbay was likely swamped with the injured from the assault but she knew where there was likely a paramedic or two who could wrench her shoulder into at least working order for the time being.
