The power reroutes were successful, though the computer flashed a warning that said the flow was beyond regulation limits. Any trained pilot or engineer knew that regulation limits were kept artificially low to prevent catastrophic failure, but they were the limits laid down in The Book, and pushing the systems past those limits would be automatically logged in case something went wrong.
Trying the chroniton integrator into the main sensors was easy enough on paper, and had been done in simulations for other slipstream craft, but whether the systems would actually talk to each other under operational conditions was another matter.
