Hally's mind wandered a bit as she checked and rechecked the flight controls.
The Dominion. What's the connection? Could the Klingons be working for the Changelings, or could they even be Changelings? The freckled hybrid felt a chill run down her spine at that thought. Her father had worked with Starfleet intelligence during the war, in fact he was recruited to that by her mother. He had shared a few stories and she had read many reports during her Academy training. Klingons were one thing, but the Dominion was something else entirely.
No. It's not that. It can't be. This is just a team of Klingon criminals who traded for tech recovered during the war and who are up to no goo...
[Givens to Maxas-Darl. I've got a task for you from the Cap'n. She wants you to try to trace where the Klingon vessel came from within the nebula. We need to determine it's origin, use the sensor buoys if needed.]
Her internal musings were interrupted by a most unexpected event; a comm from Captain Givens to *her*.
"Aye Captain Givens, I'll get us some answers."
The chill from her hypothetical turned warm as excitement replaced it.
"Uhm...ok, so...how do I trace a freighter that doesn't want to be traced and is using advanced tech that is unlike anything I'm familiar with...." she whispered to herself as she focused on the sensor data pouring forth. She recognized a fair amount of it, and she even was able to separate the data from the recent travels from their initial encounter, but she had to admit that this was probably outside her ability to do alone. Academy training was excellent, but she had somehow missed, 'Tracking Klingon smugglers utilizing alien tech through hojix soup while maintaining your winning smile -101'.
Her question ran out as a slight movement in her peripheral grabbed her attention.
"Hey, uhm, Commander Miller, Lieutenant Devereaux..." she said a bit more sweetly than she had intended, "Uhm, can you give me a hand with tracking the qoH's movements?" She glanced back and gave them a sheepish smile, "This is a bit beyond my training I'm afraid." Her pride precariously close to breaking, she knew that her friend Aeryn would give her the gentle guidance she needed while helping her to not feel like a complete fool. "I've separated the data sets, and I'm narrowing down the plasma and radiation trail, but I'm having a bit of trouble resolving what is native to the nebula and what the smugglers released..."

===Science team - Hally is attempting to derive if the qoH' is using strictly Klingon sublight engines or is there evidence of Dominion type helical/ion activity. Another question: does the nebula disrupt Warp, or is it theoretically possible that the ship warped into the nebula directly==
