Peter did manage to hide his enjoyment of the way Braggins basically told Tomer to take a hike. But only barely.
That effort was helped somewhat by her next instruction: To go lead the investigation into the cause of the explosion. It made sense, he had to admit that. But he also didn't know jiggle squat about engineering about from "Direct hit from torpedo bad", more or less. Though the way Braggins put Tomer in his place did make him feel slightly better again.
Still, orders were orders, and he already had an idea of who he wanted.
"Understood", he said and got up out of his seat, then tapped his badge:
"Jensen to Jadaris. If you can spare Ens. Elliot, I would like for him to meet me at the site of the explosion in the aeroshuttle dock", he said, giving the CEO an opening to pick someone else if he was too much in need of Elliot.
Then he tapped again and went:
"Jensen to Cassidy. If you can spare Doctor Ellis, have him meet me outside Aeroshuttle Bay".
And while he waited for a reply, he looked at Bowman
"Midshipman, you're with me", he instructed as he headed for the turbolift. He would call in extra if he needed it but there was also such a thing as too many cooks in the kitchen.
