Edit Reason: Added a reply to Gath

Lieutenant Gath responded to his earlier directive about preparations for their VIP guest.
"Thank you Lieutenant." Ameen nodded at the Security Chief. "I understand the limitations with experienced personnel for specialized VIP protocols given our crew's recent assembly. Your diligence in preparing an honor guard and identifying a core security detail is appreciated. I have confidence you'll manage the requirements effectively."
His attention then turned fully to Doctor O’Fee, who had just given her own update. Morad listened carefully to her explanation regarding Trill joinings.
Right. Not just a simple swap if things go bad. Training, specific conditions... and dangerous. Good to know....
She clearly knows her stuff when it comes to Trill physiology and customs. He appreciated her gentle correction and her immediate focus on preparing for any eventuality, however remote.
"Thank you for that clarification, Doctor," Ameen said, his tone appreciative. "And for your diligence in preparing for the worst-case scenario. Your expertise in this area is invaluable, especially with the... unique nature of our guest." He gave a decisive nod. "Permission granted. Please attend to Sickbay and make whatever preparations you deem necessary. Keep me informed of any significant requirements or findings."
One more department head taking charge, Ameen thought as he watched her prepare to leave for Sickbay. That's what I need....
The bridge settled back into its quiet, watchful state, the main viewscreen still filled with the image of Trill hanging in the void.
Now, if Trill Control would just get back to us about this 'delay' and the rest of that dossier...
