Hally ensured the ship was in a stable position before placing the helm under computer standby, and she left her seat to join Miller and Devereux at the Science station. As the lanky hybrid stepped across the bridge the space seemed different than it did a number of hours before when she had first entered. It seemed less intimidating, and to her credit, she felt like less of an imposter.
As the science officers poured over the probe data Hallowette stood to Aeryn's left, the smaller, boyish figured woman stretching awkwardly in order to see the console over the other redheads, eventually scooching closer so she could better see.
Silently she thanked her father's gods that she had gotten to know the pair before today. Had her time on the ship been any different, she likely would have felt much more self conscious in asking for their help - much less placing herself so physically closely. The familiarity, even new as it is, was pleasant. Also, she noted that Aeryn smelled nice, though she couldn't place the scent. She wondered if it was something Beka may have given her.
"So, what I know of the nebula's qualities, it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to warp out of it, much less trying to even get a decent and accurate plot inside of it. So..." she thought, her husky voice trailing off as her thoughts coalesced, "...that means wherever they came from, it's likely a point within impulse ranges..." She looked at the data, listening as the science team discussed their findings.
"Wait, that looks different...." she said quietly with a question in her tone, "Is that ion turbulence?" She pointed at a point in the probes data, "It's faint, Commander, but...could that be their wake?"
