Even if he wasn't sure exactly what he had been summoned for, Micah *had* told the First Officer to let him know how he could help, so help he would. After only a short stop at his quarters to, you know, put on some boots and his actual uniform, the bearded dark skinned man glanced at himself in the mirror just as he began to exit his quarters, noting his long braided hair was tucked unceremoniously under the collar of his top. He unfastened the uniform as he entered the corridor, pulled his hair free, and resecured the binding that kept it in its more manageable state. While never one to allow formality and pomp to dictate how he approached someone, he knew all too well that Starfleet was a far cry from the ramshackle frontier disaster-medicine he had grown accustomed to, and the man sighed a chuckle as he refastened his jacket.
My old man would have never believed I'd end up working for the UFP. Hell - I'd never have believed it. Ghosts of the Maquis forgive a man who just wants to do some good.
Soon after he entered the area just outside the cavernous space of the Aeroshuttle bay, finding Jensen standing alongside a few other officers. The amiable doctor nodded to them all, said a quiet, "Hey, how y'all doin'." and then smiled warmly at the senior officer, offering the man a gracious, "Thanks for asking me along Commander." before placing his hands behind his back in a relaxed and interested pose.
The ships FO addressed the team, giving a rundown on the purpose of the gathering, and Ellis listened quietly, noting each person's role. As Jensen's attention came to rest on him, he slightly lifted his chin, making sure to engage the man fully.
"And your job, Doctor, is to make sure we're all still alive and likely to remain so once we leave this place again. I can imagine that the environment inside could be a bit healthier", Jensen said, though his subtlety wasn't lost on the Doctor. "So...give us a heads up if things start getting dicey. And if it becomes downright dangerous, tell me."
"Yes sir, will do." Micah answered simply with a nod of his head.
With that the doctor pulled out his medical tricorder, adjusted a few settings and began to scan the environment. He wondered to himself if respirators might be needed, or maybe even inoculations of some kind.
"Let me get a baseline folks..." he said to the group with a cheerful smile, though his brow suggested his thoughts were already on the assignment. "Then we'll let ya'll to get to work."

=GM INPUT: Micah is looking for anything that is immediately evident that might pose a threat to the teams health. Radiation, aerosols, chemical contamination, etc. Once he does so, he intends to request mitigators to be beamed to the staging area, or even recommend force field quarantines' put in place. As part of this, he, of course, will pull up bio feeds on the team so he can monitor their health real time, so he will request any more pertinent devices that he may need in order to do so (in case his magic tricorder is unable to accomplish the tasking).
