The in depth version of the dossier was quite the read. Kesstir was an individual with which you did not leave the table without having been provoked to critically think about the options in front of you. The amount of historical documents that detailed each of the negotiations that had been brokered was staggering. Upon looking at the record of such a person you might get the impression that this was an imposing persona and one that would stare you down until you give into the negotiated terms. That presumption would be betrayed by the disposition the dossier would illustrate regarding her demeanor. Imposing of mind, absolutely, but it read as if imposing physically was going to be far fetched.
"Ensign Powl," Ameen continued, "once Lieutenant Ra'an provides those potential routes, I want your department to cross-reference them with long-range sensor data and any available Starfleet disposition reports. Identify any other Federation starships or known allied vessels projected to be operating in our general vicinity along those paths. It would be prudent to know who our nearest friendly assets might be, should we encounter any... 'unexpected phenomenon' that requires us to call for assistance."
Powl looked over at the command chair. Commander Ameen had spoken and it seemed natural now that the command orders were emanating from his mouth. Keir sitting next to him seemed perfectly normal too. Forty hours ago it all seemed out of place and new, and suddenly the Bridge had reached a sort of homeostasis.
"Aye, sir. I have already conducted my research on the two planets. It seems there isn't anything in their respective planets' capabilities that would give the Zephyr any trouble at all. It seems that their vessels are largely dedicated to trade, transport, and freight."
Torok turned his head slight to look at his readout, and looked back.
"It appears most of the ships are smaller in size, but there are some larger vessels for venturing out of their own system."
He returned to his station again. This time he wanted to know what to encounter between their current position and what lies between them. However, in order to do that, he would need to collaborate jointly with the Science team, Stellarcartography, and the Federation database regarding obstacles either natural or otherwise between their current location and their destination.
The dossier indicated that she doesn't want to be early, or late in the slightest. So we also need to know what happens if we take our time to get there slowly. That leaves the ship more exposed during warp travel. And the orders were for the next two weeks, therefore we will need to identify timelapse risks, too.
With that in mind, Powl pulled up the currently proposed route that Ra'an and Krandle were attempting to schedule, and began investigating for Federation records for would be issues or potential nearby friendlies on the way.
