As the turbolift doors opened, Cass settled her expression into a neutral set and tried to resist the urge to roll her shoulder again. She also tried to ignore the dull ache in her now set shoulder; while walking into the security office and volunteering to be a guinea pig for the medics had been the expedited way to get her shoulder to a usable state, it hadn't been the pain free or permanent solution. It was, however, the one that had her returning to the bridge as quickly as possible.
"--faint, Commander, but...could that be their wake?" The young helmsman was reporting.
"Commander, given what we now know about the freighter and where it might have come from, I recommend that we return to the heart of the nebula before the ion/turbulence trail is lost". The CSO suggested, though Cass knew from having seen the state of the Klingon freighter herself that withdrawing would not be such a quick process.
"I'll notify the Captain that we need to consider moving onward," Cass stated, announcing her presence. "What's the deterioration rate of the trail? Would a shuttle be able to follow it in a worst case scenario?" she asked, even as she moved back towards her auxiliary station.
"Givens to Crawford. A trail has been found but it's faint and getting fainter. We're on the clock now."
With that message delivered, her dark eyes moved back to the helmsman and Miller expectantly.
