The Security Chief was glad to be back aboard Artemis. Just the feeling of Star Fleet solidity under her boots was reassuring after an extended time aboard the crumbling ruin of the qoH. Which made the purpose of her visit to the Bridge just that little bit more satisfying.
Stepping off the turbolift, Mara took a look around to get her bearings. She was still in full armour, although at this point it was very much worse for wear. Her chestplate was cracked, her half-destroyed helmet was clipped to her belt, and there were splashes of dried purple blood across her body and face.
"Alright, people, let's get a move on. Helm, take us out, best speed. And send the detonation signal when you're ready." The FO spoke up.
“That would be where I come in,” Calleja said calmly. “Tell me when we’re clear. I’ve been lookin’ forward to this for the last couple hours.”
In her hand the Amazonian Lieutenant held the detonation controller for the charges that had been planted throughout the dilapidated smuggler vessel. With a flick of her thumb she armed the bombs, the lights on the controller going from green to red and the box emitting a faint whine of readiness.
When she got the signal from the helm, Mara nodded. With no small degree of satisfaction she brought her thumb down on the detonate control.
