The first thing that Ardanna did once she arrived back at the ship was head straight for the security complex, not only to return equipment and additional weapons to the armoury, but also to change. Once business was taken care of and everything was accounted for, as it had been before departure, the brunette Ensign headed for the locker room, ignoring the sudden burst of tiredness and how her bones ached thanks to the adrenaline wearing off. If the initial fight with the Klingons hadn't been enough, there had also been a lot of carrying and dragging, either people or assisting Engineering with that significant console. Not that Ardanna had anything to complain about, as it was all part of the job, but she could allow herself a moment of relief, even if that involved a quick sonic shower and change of uniform.
Of course, she wanted to visit her team in Sickbay, to see how they were all doing; however, that was going to have to wait, especially now that the ship was on the hunt for more answers, and she hadn't forgotten that Chief Calleja had wanted to go with her. So, for the time being, Ardanna would remain in security as she stripped off the armour, placing it in the appropriate receptacle before doing the same with her uniform and underclothes. A quick sonic shower later, and replicating a fresh uniform, Ardanna was once more looking as if she hadn't been on a tough mission to a questionable freighter.
Then, after a stop for something to eat and drink to replenish her energy reserves, Ardanna settled down at one of the bullpen consoles and started to work on her report, thinking it was better to do it now rather than later. That way, it would free up some time to visit Sickbay once her shift was officially over. Although what she wanted to right had to be kept to a minimum, knowing that the higher-ups might not like some of her choice words, grinning to herself, the security ensign decided on sticking to the facts.
