"Alright, alright," Jaein said as they paraded the console into the work area next to main engineering. "Let's set her down right here."
Stepping out of the way, Jaein consulted his tricorder to see how long they had left, and was pleasantly surprised. Initially he had thought that the batteries wouldn't last as long as predicted, but either he'd been wrong, or they had moved at a better pace than he had predicted, as they still had more than ten minutes to get everything connected. The non-coms got the device settled gently to the floor, and he nodded to them as they got the antigrav sled out of the way and let him get to work.
Before he did anything, he went back to the back of the console and reconfirmed what he already knew. "Alright, so we need a Starfleet to Klingon EPS tap converter," he said, "along with a universal ODN connector." Neither was difficult, and while he was a touch worried about the universal connector cutting down the data speed, he didn't have a lot of choice. The Klingons had welded the adapter in place over the Dominion original, leaving him no other option. "Computer, produce those times at replicator station 2."
The computer beeped in acknowledgement, and he listened to the replicator whine. Jaein let them sit for a moment as he instead turned and pulled out the relevant cables from the wall and staged them. The eight minute mark ticked past as he walked past and grabbed the adapters and brought them back to the console, and it was the work of just a minute to get them onto the two cables.
"And now, the moment of truth," he said, and muttered a quick prayer under his breath as he connected them, consulted his tricorder, and waited to see what would happen.
