Her shift was drawing to a close, but with the ship at yellow alert, Ardanna didn't think she would be going anywhere anytime soon. The security ensign couldn't see herself attempting to relax in her shared quarters, especially since her roommate, K'Deela, was still in Sickbay or needed to be available for anything else. As much as she wanted to go visit her team, she'd wait until things were less tense and unknown so that it wouldn't be a short visit. For now, though, she needed to do something, even if that meant hanging out in the lounge area, that way she was still close by, should she be called to carry out further orders.
Finishing her report, Ardanna then saved it and sent a copy for the Chief's perusal, before signing off the console. With that done, the brunette stopped to chat to a couple of colleagues on her way back to the lounge. Naturally, once she had grabbed another drink and sat down, people wanted to know what had happened on the freighter. So, Ardanna was happy to oblige them but omitted what they didn't need to know, at least not yet, particularly what had been found and the link to the Dominion.
She seemed to get away with it, too, not feeling too guilty as the truth would come out eventually; however, Ardanna knew that they would understand given the nature of their job.
