Hola,
I found this to be a bit difficult, I wanted to emphasize that I'm an overachiever, that's why I wrote so much about my academics, being a book worm and all. I wasn't sure if you wanted the things like height and weight in metrics or imperial so I did both.
I see where it says that players have to post twice a week. I am currently under a bit of a finical strain. I don't have an internet connection at my home. So, I use the local Library and sometimes their internet is down , but I'm hoping to have internet in my house by the beginning part of August.
Question:? Does Fed Space run better on a mac or a PC and does Fed Space work better with a specific browser?
Here goes my attempt.

== Personal History ==
Date of Birth: 1/20.
Place of Birth: Hospital Santa Margarita Guadalajara, Mexico
Marital Status: Single.
Sibling's Name & Ages: Isabella (Sister) 24, Alvaro(Brother) 20, Sofia (Sister) 18, Juan- Diego ( Brother) 15
Mother's Name: Araceli Solana Cortez n’ee Aguilar.
Father's Name: Alejandro Tomás Cortez
Parent's Status: Married, living in Guadalajara Mexico on Earth.
Pets: A dog, a Xoloitzcuintle named Corajudo.
Best Friend: Roberto Miguel Xavier Santigo.
Family History: Sebastián is the second oldest child of a family of seven. He was born in the Hospital Santa Margarita in Guadalajara, Mexico to a very proud family HIs father Alejandro Tomás Cortez is the Local Police Chief of Guadalajara. His mother the lovely and talented Araceli Solana Cortez n’ee Aguilar is The Curator of the Natural History Museum in Guadalajara His siblings were all still in School except his older sister Isabella who works as a Holonovelist, she mostly creates Romance Holonovels. Sebastián finds them to be idiotic drivel, unrealistic shallow characters in very clichéd settings, often set in Renaissance Europe or the Caribbean basin, Pirates, and the like. Sebastián wasn’t special as he wasn’t the oldest, nor was he special because he wasn’t the youngest. Some called him an overachiever because he worked so hard to get his parent's attention. Isabella was a successful Holonovelist and Jaun-Diego was the family's baby so naturally anything they did was special. His parents are proud of him, but he has to really work to earn it. However, his mother seems to understand him the best. They are fairly close; probably because she is a Museum Curator and has a broad understanding of Science and History.
Pre Academy: Sebastián excelled in School, he loves learning, and he especially liked the Math and Science Classes, He won several awards in Math Competitions and Several Science Fairs. He enjoyed figuring out the unknown, He wanted to know the Secrets of the Universe. He wanted to know the who, what, where, when, and why behind everything. It was all fascinating to him. He excelled in his other classes, but his heart belonged to Math and Science. While the other kids looked forward to Summer Vacation Sebastián took Summer classes. He studied several languages while in School, while the other kids chose electives like Holo-programming or cybernetics which he also participated in, but to a limited degree. He didn’t understand why people wanted to build artificial life forms to gather information when humans were so curious. He studied French, German, Vulcan, and Bajoran.
Granted he devoted two years to each language, but he was fairly fluent in them; especially French as French and Spanish shared a common ancestry of Latin. When he wasn’t studying he was playing Fútbol, he also enjoyed Swimming, Music, and Billiards, but Fútbol liked Billiards used Geometry, The symmetry of incident and reflected angles can be used to predict the behavior of pool balls as well as other things like Fútbol Balls, such as how light bounces off a mirror or how sound bounces off walls. Sebastián loved how the Fútbol players performed a kind of dance with the ball; evading other players waiting for the moment when the goalkeeper let their guard down and he could score. Fútbol is a very strategic game that appealed to Sebastian both mentally and physically.
As a boy Sebastián enjoyed playing Fútbol, it was his favorite sport, He was the captain of his High School Fútboll team leading them to four Championship Cups. When he was on the sidelines he had his nose in a book. He also enjoyed Astronomy, the beauty of Space was very satisfying and relaxing to him. Some would say that he was an overachiever, but he was just thirsty for knowledge, that's why Sebastián wanted to join Star Fleet. Sebastián’s best friend Roberto Santigo was an artist, he was often bullied in school as Roberto was different, he was what some people called the sensitive artist type, but Sebastián protected him and looked after him.
Sebastián’s dad is originally from Cuba He is a very proud man, especially being directly related to the famous or infamous depending on one’s point of view; Hernán Cortés the Spanish conquistador, or conqueror, who is best remembered for conquering the Aztec Empire in 1521 and claiming Mexico for Spain. It’s not that Sebastián didn’t believe his father, it’s just that he had never actually seen a family tree or any documents to prove his father’s claims. Cortez was a fairly common name in Mexico, it was like any North American named Lincoln, Washington, or Jefferson being able to trace their ancestry to their famous relatives, not to mention the fact that people change their names so you can’t be sure if one's ancestor changed their name or not.
What bothered Sebastián the most was that Hernán Cortés and the other conquistadors didn’t exactly treat the Aztecs and the other native inhabitants of Mexico very well. They enslaved and often brutalized the native populations. Sebastián didn’t express his disappointment in his family's somewhat checked past to his father, as his father is a very proud man,
Sebastián father expected him to stay in Mexico and follow in his footsteps and become a Police Officer or at the very least just stay in Mexico, but Sebastián wanted to join Star Fleet to explore space and encounter new and exciting discoveries, new plants, and animals, He wanted to see new cultures, meet and embrace the unknown to understand the Universe and his place in it.
The Academy: Sebastián’s time at the Academy was the most exciting time of his life, he met many incredible people, and he felt a little intimidated his first year, as the Vulcans dominated the Sciences especially Xenobiology, Temporal Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, and Quantum Chemistry. Sebastián assumed that it was because the Vulcans began their education very young, as well as the fact that Vulcans trained their minds. Not to mention that Vulcans had been exploring Space far longer than Humans.
Sebastián’s biggest rival was a Vulcan named T’Sel, she was brilliant, if he received a perfect score she managed to get that but the bonus questions as well and often added more to her answers than required. He swore she must have had a computer for a brain and he didn’t mind the fact that she excelled, but it was that annoying Vulcan raised eyebrow she would give when she learned of his grade and the way she would say, “Fascinating” like she was fascinated that he had done well at all. Things went like that during their Freshman and Sophomore years, but things changed in their Junior year, when a joined Trill, a very intelligent Trill named Je’Fa Dex, transferred from The Trill Science Ministry, he turned the Academy’s Academic standings on its head. He shattered the Science Records, he made T’Sel look mediocre at best. Je’Fa was the best at Temporal and Quantum Mechanics. At seventeen, I had already had several papers published in many different Scientific Journals. Sebastián figured that the Trill as a species had an advantage from having experienced so many lifetimes via the previous Hosts so if you got a symbiont whose previous hosts were Scientists or Doctors the current hosts could tap into the knowledge and experiences of the previous hosts, thus giving them an unfair advantage, but in Je’Fa’s case, he was already brilliant before he was joined, at least that was the rumor going around.
One day Sebastián was studying in the Library, when he heard a familiar voice addressing him it was T’Sel. She seemed desperate, her tone sounded emotional, it turned out that she was having trouble with the Tachyon decay rates of a Quantum singularity in a J-Class Nebula. He found that interesting as T’Sel was a Vulcan and those subjects should have come easy to her, it wasn’t that she was experiencing an emotional state, at least not in the traditional human manner but rather experiencing anxiety or uncertainty. T’Sel had come across something she had never experienced before, that something was academic struggle. Sebastián explained it to her and she was very grateful. The two of them began talking and she told him something that surprised him greatly. She confessed that she found Je’Fa a bit intimidating, but that she found Sebastián even more intimidating as unlike Je’Fa he didn’t have an unfair advantage, that he was brilliant all on his own, that it was illogical of her to see Je’Fa or anyone else as better than her as they were all working for the same goal the betterment of the Federation so it was logical for her to excel so Star Fleet and by extension the Federation would get the best people in the right places as far as Scientific discoveries were concerned.
By the time they were ready to graduate Sebastián and T’Sel were good friends, they often spent their free time visiting different places on Earth, places like Isaac Newton’s home in England, or Curie Institute in Paris where Marie Curie worked, but he especially liked visiting the Quantum Gravity group of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Their most famous alumnus Alejandro Corichi the theoretical physicist whose theories in Robustness of key features of loop quantum cosmology and Quantum geometry and black hole entropy are still the gold standards even today.
In his Freshman year, Sebastián met a lovely young Human female Blanca Josefina Manuela Sánchez, met her while stationed at the Federation Research station in the Orbit of Venus. She was a civilian botanist, part of the team leading the project to terraform Venus and make it habitable for Humans. Sebastián and Blanca enjoyed a very passionate romance, they enjoyed many of the same things, Music, Fútbol, Swimming, and Science. Blanca was a Botanist, she won several prizes for her work in cross-species propagation. She combined two different species of plants that could survive both the carbon dioxide atmosphere as well as the clouds composed of sulfuric acid on Venus. Those plants combined with atmospheric scrubbers would soon turn Venus into a very comfortable planet. It would probably take centuries, but the possibilities were there. Blanca died when the shuttle she was on collided with a Ferengi cargo ship that had come out of warp too close to Earth, killing everyone on board both ships. Sebastián was devastated, he was heartbroken he had lost the love of his life.
Sebastián fell into a depression, but he knew that Blanca would want him to be happy and succeed. In his depression, Sebastián's grades started to fall. T’Sel tried to help him, but she had no luck, helping pull him out of his depression, as she lacked the necessary emotional context to know what he was going through. If it wasn’t for his best friend, Roberto Santigo Roberto and Sebastián have been friends since they were six, they met in school, unlike Sebastián, Roberto wasn’t a Fútbol player, he was an artist who worked in just about every known medium, but Roberto like oil painting, he was a classically trained artist, Roberto caught wind of Sebastián’s loss Roberto met him while he was on leave to pay respects to Blanca’s family. Roberto told him, “ The best way to Honor Blanca would be for him to do his best to excel in his career, to continue her work. So he decided to minor in Botany.

In that moment he learned that you can plan, and check your facts and figures and still fail. He learned humility that day.
Role Model: Alejandro Corichi the theoretical physicist and Albert Einstein and his parents.
