Hallowette soon came back with a response for the Captain regarding the platforms, along with the news that the bird of prey was the only ship in the vicinity, as well as her thoughts on how Artemis could tackle not only the weapons platforms but also the probability of using a runabout with and without assistance. Going into something like this always involved odds of some kind, and a whole lot of risks, but that's why they had Tyra to weigh up what was the right thing to do. Lucy was then the next to speak, offering up an idea of how to take out the platforms, should that be something to consider. While it wasn't the worst idea, it would involve recalling the probes, modifying them, and then relaunching, which was timely but not impossible. Unless they kept those probes out, and simply launched a torpedo or two instead. There were lots of options, and what they needed now was a solid plan to proceed.
While she waited for Tyra's orders, Aeryn sent a message to the Science complex, advising them to be on standby just in case, which never hurt even if she didn't have to utilise the rest of her department. Mara then reappeared, quietly taking over one of the tactical stations, and it was good to have her back, considering what had been found. If they were about to send a team over by runabout, Security needed to be involved, and it saved Tyra from having to call down. This way, Mara could be directly involved in whatever plan they came up with.
All the threads that had been presented to the Captain were soon pulled together, orders were issued, and questions were asked as the weight of it all could be seen briefly on Tyra's face. Hally answered first and began to explore the possibility of removing the first platform, while Aeryn responded next.
" Acknowledged, Captain, I'll send one of my officers to assist immediately".
Having already put her team on standby, Aeryn turned to her console and sent another message.
[Miller to Maguire, get yourself to Medical asap, you're to assist with finding out more about the DNA profiles that have been found, and why those particular profiles were used, get me as much information as possible]
The CSO knew how important this was and how no stone could be left unturned, as she received an acknowledgement.
