C’had walked into the party dressed to the nines, and so fashionably late, he put most rockstar musicians to shame. He was, of course, the last to arrive, and found himself entering a full room of people he had intended to wine, dine and out-shine.
Instead, he felt rather shameful, a fact which he quickly masked by embracing his boisterous side. “HEY-HEY-HEY!” He announced jovially, his hands in the air. “Glad to see everyone’s here! Let’s get this party STAR-ted!” He bucked his hips and looked to where the music was playing. “Can we play something more…” He paused and looked around at the party, at everyone mingling and being polite. “More upbeat?”
The Trill grabbed a chair, and jumped upon it effortlessly. “Anyone here ever hear of the band ‘Spin Doctors’? They’ve got some good stuff! Don’t know what’s playing right now, but unless it’s rock ‘n’ roll or smooth jazz, I don’t wanna hear it.”
He laughed, catching a few eyes along the way as he surveyed the room again. “If this is a party, after all, let’s PARTY!”
