Captain Brooks entered the Observation Lounge, he noticed how tall the scientist was along with their long limbs.
"Please take a seat Luraim." he said indicating a seat at the end where the scientist was stood, while he slipped into his usual seat he indicated to Khasim to take the seat to his left.
"Before you put your case forward for our assistance. I would like to warn you that we are bound by the prime directive in interfering with cultures and their technologies which may or may not give them a superior advantage." said Brooks his icy blue eyes staring hard at the scientist.
"I know our own science officer here Lieutenant Khasim is eager to help you with your problem, my problem is the bigger picture of how your planet is and the way the governments are within it, we already had our Ambassador attacked and as it stands from my point of view is this so far not a good idea to assist you in this."
He paused for a moment and let the silence fill the space.
"Give me your reasons for us to help you Luraim." he asked after a minute had passed.
