“I don’t know, but maybe we should find out.”
Before she could even think about an answer, Mendoza had already disappeared behind the steel white doors. She couldn’t help but stare incredulously: that girl was seriously out of her mind.
One of her teammates tapped her on the shoulder and she dropped her stare to answer hikm.
“What should we do? Follow her?” he asked confused by what was going on.
“Of course. Round everyone up and follow me.”
She waited for everyone to finish preparing and with the pasher in her hand she went after the crazy woman. Running trough the maze of corridors, she soon arrived at a crossroad where Amanda was waiting for them.
“Are you crazy, running around alone without any protection?” she said with a roll of her eyes.
She hated dealing with stupid people.

In her haste to follow the dog she hadn’t realized it had changed direction and when she opened the door she could see that the room was completely empty. She coursed out loud, something she didn’t do very often but felt it was the right time to start. She had been too impulsive and now that dog was nowhere to be seen.
What happened? I’m not usually like this. Maybe this whole situation is getting to me…
Meanwhile, the rest of her team was gaining on her. The sound of their heavy steps was interrupted by a loud bark coming directly from behind her. She strained to hear were it was coming from as the sound reverberated in the empty room, making it seem as if it came from all around her.
“Come on, guys! I hear it coming from this side.” she raised her voice in order to be herd but continued on down the corridor. It gave the strange impression of being in an infinite loophole, as everything was the same wherever you looked.
White is definitely not my favourite colour.
A strange moan interrupted her thoughts and instinctively reached for her phaser. It didn’t sound human but she also didn’t know what kind of creature could be hiding here. It sounded injured in any case. Moving forward she arrived at a crossroad: the hallway split in two possible paths and the weird sound she had heard wasn’t helping her narrow it down.
She had to make a decision soon but was uncomfortable doing it without the backup of her team. This whole situation could turn ugly and she didn’t want to be cought alone and defenseless. She was debating what to do when she heard steps coming from behind her; turning around she could see Ensign Vazula leading the team, phaser in hand and pointed in front of her.
“Are you crazy, running around alone without any protection?” said Vazula while rolling her eyes so hard they were at risk of falling from her face.
She semmed to think she was the stupidest person alive and maybe she was right, but this place gave her a lot of bad vibes. She knew in her core that something bad had happened but she couldn’t figure out what, and it was driving her crazy.
“I knwo, but we don’t have time for this or we’ll loose the dog.”
With that she took the left corridor where she could hear the barking getting louder until they reached what looked like an empty room, save for a bunch of metal cabinets attached to the wall: the only things not white in this place.
Getting her tricorder out she scanned for any sign of life: it was unlikely but worth a try.
== GM: input, please? ==
== Okay, so I can't describe what the dog is doing that the GM hasn't told me, right? Because that would be character hijaking. ==
