Tyra sat there as information trickled in, mulling over her helmsman and Mara's statements. She slowly assessed what each puzzle piece meant and where it got into the over all puzzle, though she felt there were pieces missing.
The more she learned, the more she regretting destroying the cursed Klingon vessel. It would have been the perfect insertion vessel for an investigative team but alas, here they were without the time to move the friend or foe system to a smaller craft.
"We need to know what's going on down there and while I greatly appreciate our ability to neutralize threats, this needs to be methodical and surgical because we may only get one chance to figure out what's going on down there. Make sure your team is capable of handling anything that comes y'all's way but I want every department represented; we unfortunately can't shoot our way to figuring out why they're cloning who they're cloning," she directed to Mara, understanding she likely wouldn't enjoy the babysitting but trusting they were past such arguments.
"I trust you to handle it as delicately as possible," she added, though she left out the unnecessary reminder that escalation by the other party usually dictated their more volatile responses.
"Midshipman," she addressed to Maxas-Darl. "I want you piloting the insertion shuttle for the Chief. I think if Artemis can get through the turrets with our system addition, we can launch the shuttle with no issues and then, head off any potential patrols while y'all poke around."
As she stated this plan, she went ahead and typed a summons to Harriman to replace Maxas-Darl, knowing the older woman was more than capable of chaperoning the ship through the next step.
"Any concerns?" She asked, mostly to Calleja as she knew that was usually where her objections came from.
