The Fleet Commander will contact you soon, welcoming you to the fleet. Before you set off for your new vessel, there are just a few small things to go over.
Profile: Click on your name at the top right of the screen. A drop down box will then appear. Click on My Settings. Scroll down the page until you find the Profile Information. Under Rank Graphic, use the dropdown box to find Science – Midshipman. Under Position change it to Science or Science Officer. Your Location will be your new assignment when you receive it. Save Changes.
Next go to the list on the left hand side of the page and select Display Name. In New Display Name change your name to "Mid ###First Name### ###Surname###". Please note that this line should always contain your rank in it's abbreviated form, as per our Rank Chart. Enter your password, then select save changes. All done!
Introductory Post: Your CO or FO will email you to tell you where to report in. Make your first post a special one, as first impressions can go a long way. Use a spell-checker if you can, to eliminate any errors.
