Pearson nodded, preferring the Chief's approach over the history lesson he was less than prepared to give, though he was appreciative of Svenson's acknowledgement of his contributions. Sure, the Dominion war specs for the facility were relevant, but only to a point, and he would rather just get to the meat of the plan. Once this was over, there would be plenty of time to apply context to what was certainly the mystery of this place.
Pearson was a braggart and a talker, but he knew when to keep his yap shut and let the brains chat it out. When Svenson mentioned equipment he tapped the briefing console with two fingers and pointed at the holomap, "Aye, yeah, detonators and thermal lances for those locks for sure. I get the feeling that security may be more on the manual side than anything requiring intricate hacking ops. May want to have the shuttle have some pattern enhancers on hand just in case we have wounded or need to beam a VIP out sooner rather than later." He straightened up. "I.... figure we prolly need to load for a real firefight. Would rather not scrap hand to hand with the klings again if I can help it - I'm way too pretty for that jazz." He joked for the benefit of the group, but it was Ardanna he looked at when he said it.
"As for ordnance, I figure type III-bs with set to wide dispersal beams will help with suppression. One bloke on each team should suffice, then the rest of the stoushers with more precise to pick off anyone giving us grief." He looked to Mara, "Heavy stun chief or we going lethal?" His meaning was laid plain - were they allowing the chance the already more stun resistant Klingons could shrug off their fire, or were they going in 'less diplomatically'.
