Amanda was quick to follow Qi' instructions and soon she was searching in the ship's internal sensors for anything strange or out of place. It wasn’t her area of expertise – she was more of an anthropologist than a physicist – but the Academy had taught her enough that she didn’t feel too out of place with her current job.
A shiver travelled down her spine and soon after she noticed her skin turn from a deep blue to her normal pink. She was back to normal and so was everybody else. The ship seemed to be back to it’s usual form as if nothing had happened in the first place. She was sure that her confusion showed on her face and so she turned to her Chief science officer.
“Are we back to normal? How could that have happened? We didn’t do anything!” Maybe it was her inexperience but nothing seemed to make sense anymore. How could a ship travel from the past and then back to the present without any input from external forces?
She went back to analyzing the data with even more motivation to find what was wrong. It took her some time before she noticed a weird mass stuck to the external hall of the ship. It seemed to be strangely warm and it appeared to be moving back and forth between two points.
It didn’t look like anything she had ever seen.
She wanted to scan the strange mass again for more information before she took the problem to her superiors.

GM input: what does the scan show? Are there any new informations? ==
