The room carried low, purposeful noise: status tones from LCARS, clipped footsteps, lockers latched tight, the armory indicator steady.
He didn’t speak—no need, he’d already hailed before arriving. He simply made himself present and usable, eyes quietly mapping who was where and what needed hands. If a wave sent him back out to shepherd someone toward Sickbay, he was already turned the right way to move. If a nod put him on an inside task, he’d take it without burning an extra word.
