Hmm according to the Wiki, Science Station Delta-05 was a Federation outpost in sector 3-0.
The outpost, based on a planet's surface, was the first stop of the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-D 's tour of the sector. However, The crew of the Enterprise-D determined that the outpost had been obliterated by an unknown assailant, later identified as the Borg.
4. Have a look at the active starships on the site. List your top three ship assignment preferences. This doesn’t mean you will be assigned to one of those you list as another ship might be in need of an officer in your department.
My First Choice would be USS Aquila, NCC-76853
My Second Choice would be USS Yeager, NCC-60097
My Third Choice would be USS Zephyr, NCC-92880
I have noticed that The Zephyr, The Aquila and The Yeager only seem to have one Engineer and the Aquila ,Yeager and The Zephyr all have one Science Officer. Please feel free to utilize me in what area I may be needed most. I have no problem switching Departments.. If it helps

Ensign Cortez, the Communications panel of the Transporter Console indicates that the communications logs do not show any faults. The buffer is full of unanswered messages. Four thousand seven hundred and forty-seven of them, but there is nothing addressed to us Said Reena.
Sebastian cringed at being addressed by his rank, as he wasn’t that much older than the two Midshipmen. Yes, he knew it was a sign of respect and respect of the Chain of Command, but still
“Please call me Sebastian,” Said Cortez, his tone friendly.
Sebastian wasn’t sure what that meant as far as the messages go; that was a lot of messages.
Wow, four thousand seven hundred and forty-seven of them, that’s a lot of messages.
Sebastian had to admit that many messages seemed to back up Rena’s theory about a system malfunction but those messages could be messages belonging to the crew of the space station, or the station doubles as a communications relay station?
How in the world can the Captain be talking with the Space Station and suddenly they lose contact?
Sebastian tapped his comm badge and spoke, “ This is Ensign Cortez of the USS Aquila. Can anyone hear me? Please, respond”
== NRC – Mid Meltar Jonar,, Bajoran Security Officer ==
Jonar looked at Cortez. He couldn’t help but feel that this situation was a trap, but if he was being honest, he couldn’t say with any degree of certainty that it was, because the more he thought about Rena's theory about it being a system malfunction or Cortez’s theory that it could just be a simple emergency. Also seemed plausible. However, he couldn’t ignore Cortez’s tricorder reading of Humanoids several decks down.
Rena looked at Jonar, and she could tell that he was in full Security Officer mode, weighing all the options. She could almost hear his thoughts.
He’s debating whether my theory or Sebastian's theory fits the situation, but also debating whether this is some kind of an attack. Thought Rena.
“Sebastian, might I suggest we wait a few minutes to see if anyone answers your hail and then make our way to the Command Deck?” Said Jonar, his tone sounding tactical.

Sebastian considered what Jonar had said. The more he thought about it, the more he became unsure.
The Humanoid life signs on the decks below could be hostile, but they could be friendly, or they could be hostile, waiting to see what we are going to do.
Relax, Sebastian, remain calm, Rena and Jonar are depending on you as you are the Senior Officer.
Sebastian tapped his comm badge again and spoke, “ This is Ensign Cortez of the USS Aquila. Anyone within the sound of my voice? Please, respond”
Sebastian looked at Rena and Jonar and spoke, “Alright, we will wait five more minutes to see if anyone answers my message. If we don’t hear from anyone, we’ll move out.” Stated Sebastian.
