"Understood, Lieutenant. Updating the scan now. " While some of the team had been trading quips (or even flirting), Robin was all business. In dangerous situations she tended to be completely focused on the job, and in this case that job wasn't to try and trade shots with the advancing Klingons with her small phaser. The nurse flicked the scan dial on her tricorder with her thumb almost casually, narrowing the range as the enemy moved up, then fed the information to the team's HUDs. At this distance picking their opponents out was much easier and the device mapped out exact locations for the team. The Security Chief would know exactly what to do with it.
Even to the CMO's untrained eye the advance seemed haphazard. Not without some basic tactics, but only basic. The Klingons advanced in small groups, with a few laying down covering fire with rifles, and the group taking cover. Mara assigned team members to her flanking attack and moved out, the first in as always.
A stray shot (likely from a disruptor rifle) blasted a chunk of wall out of the edge of a window about two feet from Robin. She gave herself a brief bit of self-congratulations that she didn't yelp.
Am I starting to get used to this sort of thing?
But it was the interaction between several of the team that did concern her. At these distances the Augment didn't need coms to hear the interaction. "Maxas-Darl, report. Are you injured?"
