== Catching up ==
There was a moment of dizziness as the anomaly ended and T'Lari found herself back in her own body and mind. She felt disoriented and shook her head to clear her thoughts. Did she have a moment to focus herself? They seemed to be back in their own time, and things were...
There was a >fzzt< as the weapons console sensor display went blank. The half-Vulcan had seen the energy spike on her readout and the track of four turrets on their opponent's hull but hadn't had a chance to react. Tetryon weapons. She didn't even have visuals.
Apparently that is permissible. That would have been useful information to have had before we'd started. We could have easily hindered the competition during the initial phase of the race.
That was her Romulan blood talking. It was logical, but it was also ruthless. It didn't matter now. For the moment all she could do was fire blind, a useless gesture.
Thankfully Jadaris had some ideas. A gamma burst from the main deflector, and a proton purge of the sensors to clear them. The Captain agreed. T'Lari readied herself to fire the moment the senors were restored and the order was issued.
