Pearson was quick to identify potential targets, allowing the pair to fire in sync before the Aussie Ensign dropped the formality of rank to make a more personable comment regarding the Klingons, one that Aeryn had to agree with. While this was the first time she had come across a bunch of Klingons who didn't want to get her drunk on blood wine and share stories of battle, they were, to put it simply, not the brightest, confirming her earlier thoughts about their capabilities when faced with those from Artemis. " I agree," she replied, as the combined efforts of those in the building continued to make their mark against those not currently occupied by Calleja's team.
There was also a moment of concern from the man next to her regarding Hally, and if anyone could help the pilot right now, it would be Robin, before Ollie reassured her friend. " She'll be okay, Robin will check her over".
The next words out of his mouth almost caused Aeryn to laugh; however, they had more important things to deal with, because the fight wasn't over just yet. They may have pinned some of the enemy in place, but it didn't stop the last few in the centre who attempted to make a run for it by rushing toward the building. " Not on my watch," the redhead muttered, and sure enough, between her and those capable, they stopped them before they could get very far.
"It's over," Aeryn said, feeling a mixture of relief and adrenaline still coursing through her veins, before Mara's voice echoed through the comm, acknowledging her friend, Aeryn made her weapon safe. Once everyone was back together, Mara laid out the next phase of the plan, returning to their original objective with one slight personnel change.
" Acknowledged", Aeryn replied, moving out after Team 1, keen to investigate the cloning facility properly now that they didn't have the Klingons to worry about.
