Upon arriving at the holding pen, Ardanna didn't think she would ever be able to forget what she was witnessing. They may be clones, but they didn't deserve to be left to suffer and die. Nor did the brunette blame the survivors for being wary about the team from Artemis. If the roles were reversed, then the security officer would have reacted the same way. When one of them, a sickly-looking Vorta, spoke, it took all of Ardanna's resolve not to offer words of comfort, as the anger and injustice joined the other emotions she had been experiencing ever since they had landed.
It was perhaps fortunate for the Klingons that they had already been taken care of, as Chief Calleja made it clear that team 1 weren't to cross the line, and with good reason, because she wouldn't put it past the Klingons to make things difficult when it came to rendering aid and rescuing the unfortunate souls standing before them. With her specific order, Ardanna quickly acknowledged Mara. " Yes, Chief", she replied, before signalling for Howland to join her in the search for weapons, while the Chief finished giving out orders and responded to a call from Chief Miller.
" Wonder what we'll find", remarked Howland once he caught up with Ardanna.
" No idea, but I don't blame the Chief for being cautious".
" Agreed, this is a Klingon base after all".
" Exactly", Ardanna agreed as Chief Calleja approached the Vorta sans helmet to gently begin questioning them.
