==A’kilees, room assignments are not up to the GM to decide, since we are here only on a mission-to-mission basis. In order to get more information on that, I would recommend asking your Department Head, First Officer, or Captain. Unless you want to move into the VIP Quarters temporarily, and bunk with a very horny Trill! ;P ==
==Temporary NPC: Ensign Allegra N. Hatchling, Science==
The Human Ensign was fascinated with Trill culture. She often yearned to be covered in spots, and a mental health professional had once stopped short of calling her feelings towards the species a ‘condition.’ True, she was obsessed with them, but with both her parents being genetic researchers, she felt it was a natural curiosity. It was common knowledge that genetic engineering was forbidden int the Federation, due to its plethora of negative possibilities, but Allegra knew both the Human and the Trill genome very well. There had even been a few cases of successful mating between a Trill and a Human, with one case being a valid possible Symbiont Host, the other being negative for those genetic markers, and a third which had been unfortunately a victim of genetic malformations. Cross-pollination between species was still a relatively new thing to Humanoid forms, and from growing up in science labs, the Ensign knew that what her parents did danced on the very line between research and practical application.
Finally though, with Mediator C’Had Kestir, certified party-boy on board, Allegra had her chance to do some practical science. Before his arrival, when they thought they were going to be hosting a frail old woman, the prescence of the woman had of course piqued her interest. Now that the Ensign had done some digging into C’Had, she was certain she could get him to agree to participate in her research. In what was probably an illegal communique, she had contacted some of C’Had’s friends and family. They all told her what amounted to the same thing: C’Had liked to have a good time. There was no “all work and no play” with C’Had, he partied as hard as he worked.
Looking at herself in the mirror, Allegra debated on how to wear her hair. Up, to show off her neck? Or down, to frame her face? “Which would he prefer…” she muttered to herself. Finally, she decided on an up-do, and straightened her uniform. She was due to go on shift in a few minutes, and she knew there was no way to make her uniform more ‘casual’. She could only hope that she would get some time alone with C’Had before his visit neared its end.
