Closer scans both of the living and deceased clones showed no transmissible diseases. There appeared to be several specific protein sequences that were breaking down, none of which appeared to be natural, and there was no apparent cause. Given the Founder's precedent of using Ketracel-White to enslave the Jem'Hadar, it's likely there was something that the clones needed that wasn't being supplied. More research would be needed to see how long they had been without to produce this effect, but it appeared to be cascading.
