It appeared that C’Had had roped -or conned- some young Ensign into letting him visit the Bridge. It was the day after the welcome dinner, and was 0900 exactly. The faintest of darkness under the Trill’s eyes hinted at him not getting much sleep, though he seemed perky as usual. “No, no,” he was saying as they exited the turbolift, patting the Ensign’s hand, “The Captain said it was all right.” He paused and looked around the Bridge. “Ah, Captain!” He called out. “Good morning to you, sir!” Coming around to stand in front of the man, the Trill took a deep bow.
“And a good morrow to you all!” He announced, grinning wide as his eyes swept across the room.
“When you have a moment, good sir, I would like to speak with you privately?” He took a step towards the Captain’s Ready Room, waving off the Ensign who had accompanied him to the Bridge. The Ensign, seemingly glad to be done with his services, rolled his eyes and headed towards the back of the Bridge.
“He didn’t exactly give me much of a choice.” He muttered bitterly to someone who had quietly spoken to him.
